FFO 3/10/22 Oh and the phone

 Hi Everyone!
Before I get into FFO I want to thank everyone who explained to me how to move photos from my phone
to my PC.
Here's the thing. I know how, I DON'T want to. All data is turned off on my phone. I have no apps on my phone. I don't play games on my phone or use google maps and GPS. In fact trackig is turned off too. I don't facetime or facebook.  I have all the sound turned off except for when my phone rings. You want to talk to me or occationally text go for it. But you will NOT find me connected to my phone.
It's just my personal choice.
I don't do phone. LOL

This week I had to drive Mr. M. to Salem for a surgery. The day before to Eugene. There has been little time for art. However, while I was waiting in the car for Mr. M. I did get these drawn out.
I really dislike this one. I grabbed the wrong paper. This paper has A LOT of tooth and well it is difficult to draw on. So it is what it is. LOL
Waiting in Euegne.

This one has better paper.
Waiting in Salem.

Both of these are photographed terribly. It is so dark here with the rain, trying to get any kind of good lighting sucks.
Again it is what it is.

However, here is a great photo of a painting by Sirrkis.
My featured artist for this week.

I'm also linking up with Gillena

Now it's your turn to show me your face.
Thanks for all the beautiful art all of you show for FFO.

Nicole

They look like two lovely young women to me. I hope Mr M recovers quickly from his surgery and feels better soon.

Irrespective of the paper quality or light your art is always good. Great job to make use of the time and limited resources Nicole. Hope M's surgery went well.
Interesting to note you have taken a hiatus from phone. I wish I could do it too..

MY phone cannot go online. It has no cam. We call ours "old-people-phones", LOL.
I do have an extra cell-phone that needs WiFi to gon online, hence: no costs!
I don´t need to be available all the time. Often when I go outside I even forget the phone and look: I am still alive!

You can draw in the car?! Respect and it came out very beautiful - hups, no plural, THEY came out beautifully!
Yes, dark here still. Tomorrow me might see the yellow thing, though.

To a happy, even if grey day.

I don't do phones, either. I don't even HAVE a phone I can take with me. It's always annoying when you are trying to have a conversation with someone and their head is glued to their cell phone.

I like your first drawing, even though you are not fond of the paper you used. And I really love the innocence of the face on the second drawing. Thanks so much for hosting and posting early, dear Nicole.

I joined for today although I did NOT create the face on my blog. Rather it is (hopefully) going to be my inspiration for later.

I like both of your drawings Nicole. I like how they have different perspectives. You have a great way of passing time while waiting in the car. Hope all else is well. Has your rain/snow stopped yet? Hopefully you won't get this next round coming in. hugs-Erika

I have trouble transferring my photos too but most of the time I just email them to myself, two or three at a time. Usually, I'm using the "real" camera so there aren't that many.

I don't do phones at all-smiles except for the landline. I connect on my desk top computer -but not face time etc either. I refuse to be tied to a black box haha
Your faces are always awesome, hoping surgery etc went well with your husband. Happy Friday

I like the angle from which you drew the first face. Not easy technically.

I think you have done very well with the 'wrong' paper.

Hello, Nicole! I hope your husband will recover soon :-)
I completely agree with you on not being connected to cell phones. I am not a facebooker, and I don't like social network, such as Twitter, TikTok, Instagram, etc.
I like your 2nd drawing!
Take care, Nicole :-)

And my SIL gives me funny looks because I refuse to do Facebook on my phone and have to alarms, other than ringer and text. You are my hero!

I like the expression of the girl in the first drawing, so fierce.

I hope Mr. M's recovery is short and as easy as possible.

I don't play games on it, but I use my phone for many other things except phone calls lol I avoid talking on it whenever possible. I trust Mr. M's recovery is going well.

Cell phones are an addiction, specially the smart phones. Now, we have apps too, to set timer and check usage but it seldom helps. So good for you that you have not given in to the distractions.
Also, liked both the faces, even the one on the wrong paper. :)
