Hi Everyone!
Welcome to FFO. This is a place where you can show any type of face in any medium. Think about what has or is a face. Flowers have faces as do clouds, you can always see a face in tree bark. I often see faces in the design on my floor. So really anything goes, as long as there is a face. Link back to me from your blog, link up with Mr. Linky, leave me a comment then go see what other's have created.
I'm writing this early because I will not be home until late today and then off again in the morning. So this weekend I will come by to leave comments.
I did some drawing this week. I have not drawn or sketched in some time.
I also got these molded faces painted. I was asked what kind of clay I use. I only use DAS air dry clay now. For me it's the best and doesn't crack while drying.Every face I create has a destination. A space to be placed in an art project and a final home for someone.
However, I don't know either until the circle is complete.
This week my featured artist is;

Your pencil sketched face is stunning Nicole.

ReplyDeleteI will also be gone tomorrow, but I suspect your trip will be more advantageous and meaningful than mine. Your drawing is beautiful. Glad you had time to create one this week. I really like your faces. I bet they are much lighter than the polymer clay ones I create at times. Thanks for hosting Nicole and good luck tomorrow.

You drew five-pointed stars on three molded faces. I know that's a symbol of celebrity in Western culture.
