T Stands for Tired

 Hi Everyone!
It's T Time and for me T stands for tired. We drove again into Eugene for another eye appt. OMG! If I get my eyes dilated one more time I am going to scream. Don't ask why but having that done gives me a headache. Plus, ya know, I can't see. :)
The office was way behind and I, along with others, waited long past our appt time. Finally the tech did his thing I had to wait another 20 minutes for the dr. My time is a valuable as his and Mr. M., poor guy, is waiting outside for me. OK enough complaining. The good news is that I won't be having surgery until my eyes get worse. Hmmmm OKayyyy. That's fine with me. I haven't had to wear glasses for over a year but now I will be back to wearing them. Hey as long as I don't have to have surgery right now that's great. Mr. M. will be under the knife the end of this month and I just can't do more right now.
With all of that I have no art that is finished. I have more than several projects going but they are all in various stages of drying.. Here are just 2 that are in the works.
These will actually be pretty when I am done. LOL
I think that is going to have to be it for me tonight. I am truly done in and need to go lay down. OLD AGE..... sighhhh
I was so tired last night I forgot to share a drink. Here it is now.

That's good news you don't need surgery right away, but too bad your husband needs it. It sounds like you had quite the week. I hope this one is better. Happy T day. hugs-Erika

This is so artistic to look at. The pattern and the texture are out of this world!

I get that. Two having surgery at once is no joke. One having surgery is more than enough. Sending well wishes to you both.

Good luck with all the medical stuff — it sounds more than exhausting and emotionally draining.

I despise having to wait when I have an appointment. I think it may be a family trait. When I take mom, if they take too long, she will say "I am ready to go now." ha ha....and I have to convince her to stay.

I look forward to seeing those two pieces completed.

I also hate having my eyes dilated. Once I had had an eye appointment and I had come by bus on purpose, knowing I wouldn't be able to see anything. But when it came to paying the bill, their card reader was not working so they only took cash. I had to walk to the shopping center and get money out of the ATM. What a nightmare! For sure i had a headache after that!
Happy T-Day,
Hugs,
Lisca

I'm glad you can hold off on surgery for another year or so. And yes, eye appointments are terribly tiring!

I hate the dilated fundus test. I get headaches from it, too. I beg the eye doc to skip it. I've often though of sending doctor's a bill for my time in the waiting room when they overbook their appointments. the skulls are pretty cool. Take care and Happy T Day

Medical appts are tiring in themselves and all the stress of medical issues sucks energy out for sure. I am hoping all goes well with your hubby.

Your projects look so good - can't wait to see them done.

Hoping you are feeling more energetic and that you are finding lots of joy, Nicole. Happy T-day and hugz

You don't have to tell me. I know I'm late visiting. It's great that you can out off your surgery for a couple of years. It's too bad Mr. isn't as lucky.

Your art is brilliant and I look forward to seeing these pieces finished.

Being late has its advantages. I see your cup of coffee opn the counter! Thanks for sharing your art and coffee with us for T this week, Nicole..

I can relate to the situation little bit dear Nicole as series of tests and treatment seems irritating despite of the benefits it brings along.
This is nice that matter is not bothering enough to get into surgery immediately. My mom used eye drops and glasses in last one and a half decade of her life. I wear glasses only when read or watch TV.
Hope Mr M will be handling everything behalf of you very well.
Please take great care of yourself and be well.
Loved the gorgeous art

SUch great news that you won't be needing surgery. It's hard when just one person is recovering.
Your in-progress pieces are looking great, and I am excited to see the skull in the frame complete.
Hope you are ablet to get some rest.
Happy Tea Day,
kate

Good and bad news post Nicole.. life is usually like that.. I like your in progress pieces.. I KNOW they will be beautiful! I do apologize for being late.. I swear .. Not 5 minutes after i linked to the party hubby walks in and says.. 'We need to go to the hospital'.. sigh.. He had tried to cut his fingers off with a power tool.. So several hours, 12 stitches and one broken finger later .. he's doing okay! But what a day! So Happy Belated T day! Hugs! deb
