T Stands for Textured Bottles

 Hi Everyone!

I start this post with a saddness for our dear blogging friend Lisca. Her wonderful husband has passed on. Please keep her in your thoughts and prayers.

Today is T-Tuesday hosted by
This is what I have been doing over the weekend. Textured bottles. These are 3" amber bottles with droppers. The texture is layered several times. A base coat of black, a main color and then a highlight color brushed lightly over the texture. I got 4 finished and have more in various stages of drying.
The texture is different on each bottle.

I have very small hands. Gloves, mittens and especially oven mits are always hard to fit for me. However, I found these Cuisinart oven mits. The are short and small. I think I got these at Big Lots. They are perfect for us small girls. LOL

My drink for today is a bottle of water.

That's it for me for now.
Be sure to stop by Elizabeth's and Lisca's

It is so sad about Lisca's husband, isn't it? And your bottles came out amazing. I have some older bottles I should do that to, or something too. Thank you for the inspiration. And I know what you mean about gloves and mitts always being too big. I'll have to keep my eyes open for some of these Cuisinart ones. Have a great T day and week ahead. hugs-Erika

I made a textured bottle once, a million years ago in school. Yours look fabulous!

Yes, it's really sad about Graham. I feel for Lisca because words just don't seem to have much meaning right now.

I think those bottles are wonderful. I have a couple of those bottles, but they have ink in them. Once they are empty, I might make something, but mine would never look as good as yours.

I've read some reviews on those mitts. They definitely didn't work for most people. I guess they had larger hands than us small gals.

Water is always a great choice. Thanks for sharing it, along with your bottles and mitt with us for T this Tuesday, dear Nicole.

Sad when people have to leave us, always.
Wonderful bottles.
What technique did you use? (oh, no, don´t tell, I have enough to do already) ;-) Happy T-Day!

Adding decorations to those dropper-bottles is really neat.

It’s heartwarming that so many of us are thinking of Lisca.
