I start this post with a saddness for our dear blogging friend Lisca. Her wonderful husband has passed on. Please keep her in your thoughts and prayers.

This is what I have been doing over the weekend. Textured bottles. These are 3" amber bottles with droppers. The texture is layered several times. A base coat of black, a main color and then a highlight color brushed lightly over the texture. I got 4 finished and have more in various stages of drying.

I have very small hands. Gloves, mittens and especially oven mits are always hard to fit for me. However, I found these Cuisinart oven mits. The are short and small. I think I got these at Big Lots. They are perfect for us small girls. LOL

My drink for today is a bottle of water.

It is so sad about Lisca's husband, isn't it? And your bottles came out amazing. I have some older bottles I should do that to, or something too. Thank you for the inspiration. Yes, it's really sad about Graham. I feel for Lisca because words just don't seem to have much meaning right now.
I think those bottles are wonderful. I have a couple of those bottles, but they have ink in them. Once they are empty, I might make something, but mine would never look as good as yours.
I've read some reviews on those mitts. They definitely didn't work for most people. I guess they had larger hands than us small gals.
