T Stands for no rain.

 Hi Everyone!

Finally after another 4 1/2 days of solid rain we have a sunny day. Not warm sun but sun none-the-less. Today is T day and mine stands for no rain for the next 2 days. Hurrayyy!
Stop over at Bleubeard and Elizabeth's to see what all of the T gang are up to.
I am running late so this is going to be  a very short post.
After a long days work in the yard Mr. M. and I started reminiscing about days long gone. For me, living remote was one of the best experiences of my life. I wish I could have grown old out in the woods. This is me in an old growth forest in N. Id. It is no longer there. Logged years ago for big corporation bucks. Yeah, you don't want to get me started.

Here is another Oregon beer sold at
Grocery Outlet.

That's all I got for today.
Wishing all of you the very best day.

Nicole

You're the second person posting about peanut butter beer. It looks really yummy but I have no idea what it would taste like.
Happy T-Day,

I try hard not to think of the natural wonders I’ve seen but that are no longer as beautiful — if they exist at all. Coral reefs where we saw fantastic colorful fish are now dead or about to die. Forests are logged out or replaced by cities. Wetlands maybe have become housing developments. There are a few exceptions where ugly development has been reversed, such as the recreation area around the San Francisco Bay that has been reclaimed as a bike and walking path. But it’s hard to contemplate — as you say.

nut crusher lol. Nancy had a PB beer too but a different one, there must be a trend happening. I would like to live rurally again, used to be cheap, now not so much. Happy T Day! Elle/EOTC xx

Well, at least it's dry today, you do have more than your share of bad weather. That nut crusher beer sounds strong, never seen it before. Happy T Day, Valerie

So sad about losing the forest- that kind of corporate stuff really gets me wound up too:(. Lovely pic and memories though.
Funny, Nancy of the T gang posted a PB & J beer:). Happy T day!

We had beer from the Wild Ride Brewery when we had dinner at the Beachcomber Pub in your town last summer. We had the Hefeweizen which was excellent.
I wouldn't mind a bit more rain. We had some this past weekend, but it just wet the soil a bit, not much more. I would welcome more - why can't it be distributed more evenly?

I'm good that way for awhile. And then, get me back near civilization!

It's sad the way we have given up our forests to the logging companies. It will be hard to breathe without our forests, so I will rant along with you.

That beer you shared and Nancy's are very similar today. Thanks for your photos from the forest and the beer from the store you shared with us for T this Tuesday, dear Nicole

The loss of old growth forests, and other ecosystems for that matter, is one of the great tragedies of North America, yet the assault on nature continues unabated. We are slowly (and in some cases not so slowly) destroying all that is precious and life-giving.

Oh my gosh - I so want to try that peanut butter porter (my favorite type of beer). Love the name too. Did you try it?

Love your picture with your dogs - I so wanted to be an outside person but the bugs just love me no matter what I try. I am a bug magnet - they fly from miles around to find me too. Still I hate that "progress" is stealing our forests - one day someone will look back and realize the poor decisions. Why we can't just have more upward construction and save the land, I don't know. Why people need giant houses is also a mystery to me. Happy T-day, Nicole. Hugz

Hurray for the sunshine! We've had a lot of rain lately- tomorrow may be sunny so we're planning an outing! Remote living sounds great but I don't think I'd like to be far away from civilization now I'm older. Belated Happy T Day, Chrisx
