Greetings!
Today is Friday Face Off and I invite you to show off your art face. Only one rule, your post hast to feature a face, human, alien, or animal. It can be in any art medium.
Yesterday was our trip to Salem. Not a bad trip if you like rain, hail, wind and slow driving tourists. LOL Actually it wasn't too bad.
I am very tired so this will be short and sweet.
Do you remember this guy? He is made of air dry clay and painted with pastels.
This gold beetle was given to my by Donna Z. It goes perfectly with the design. The curly plant is dried black bean skin from last year. It is so cool
In addition here are a few of my drawings.
This is created by the talented Gene Black.
Yes a quilted face

You certainly know how to put an expression on a face, Nicole!
I love where your clay face ended up...very nice faces!
WOW, Gene's quilted face looks amazing!
I joined in for this week — I hope I did it right.
Have a wonderful weekend! x
Nice faces Nicole. I love how you colored in just enough to give the pieces some surprise, like the man with the blue eyes. Wow! And is your gold beetle really a beetle? It looks like a bumble bee to me, but I'm not an expert on beetles. Happy Friday. hugs-Erika
...quite a collection!
I really love your finish with the clay face. The drawings are great.

Wonderful work Nicole, so talented you are! Thanks for hosting.
We had rain. I was ready for hail, but thank goodness it never arrived--my seedling are still to tiny.
I really like the face, especially the finished piece. LOVE your use of the bean pods!
Great job on your new three faces, Nicole!
You do fabulous faces, Nicole. And yes, that fabric is terrific! Have a wonderful weekend!
Those blank eyeballs are a bit creepy, but I like your face in its setting with the plant materials and so on. Your other faces are amazing.

Great works, clay and paintings! Love the Grasshopper on the fabric, reminds me of a children´s series, Maya the Bee. She had such a friend called Flipper, if I remember right.

Just a note to say thank you for the lovely comment you left on my card. I hope you are feeling better now. My back is still painful after doing almost anything, but walking seems to help - wish I could do more of that! Your artwork is beautiful. Hazel x
