Friday Face Off

 Hi Everyone!

Today is Friday Face Off and I am linking up with Gene and Barbara

I literally just finished this piece.
Of course the face is clay, painted and sealed.
I painted a wooden Hamsa hand, then arranged some fabric and glued it on. The face goes on next. Then I did Huichol beading.
There is a hole to hang it on the wall.

Hope you enjoyed Friday Face Off.
I am also linking with
Have a great day!

  1. How interesting. It must have been "iridescent paint week" even though it wasn't planned. I love both the face and the way you have mounted it.

  2. This face reminds me of a cross between a sleeping baby child and someone very old. I like it, and it made me think about it a few minutes. That's a good thing. Happy end of April Nicole.

  7. Just like a sleeping baby Nicole, make me want to whisper and tip toe around so not to wake her. Beautifully embellished. Hugs Tracey x

  9. This is quite unusual, and I love that you also included the Hamsa hand, too. What a special face, Nicole.

  11. That's a particular face! I like both the shape and the unusual colour. That face remids me a carving I saw inside the Rosslyn Chapel in Edinburgh.
