Movie Monday

 Happy Monday!

I hope you had a good weekend. For Mr. M. and I our, "good" has changed so much. B.C. (before covid) I was very social and active in my town. Now, with so many antivaxxers and antimaskers we stay very close to home and find creative ways to keep busy. One of the things is watching more films and series.
Saturday, I watched a movie called,
"Then Came You"
Have your tissues close by for this one. A comedy with a touch of love. Not my normal watch but it stars Maisie Williams for GOT and well I can't pass up a movie with her in it. hypochondriac working as an airport baggage handler is forced to confront his fears when a British teenager with a terminal illness enlists him to help her carry out her eccentric bucket list. I watched this on Netflix.

Then on Saturday afternoon I started binge watching, "The Ozarks" on Netflix. Season 4 is out and well one can't just start with that, you have to go back a few seasons to catch up. Now I don't want you to think I just sit in a chair watching nonstop TV. Because I had seen the previous season, I just listened to them as I did things around the house. LOL Season 4 is pretty tense, and the ending is chilling. If you have not seen this series, get started on it. Jason Bateman and Laura Linney. How can you go wrong with these two?

That's it for now. Enjoy your day.

Nicole

...I enjoy private times alone, Covid hasn't disrupted me like many others.

I watched the first episode of Ozark series 4 this morning, it was shocking as always. I forced myself to get up from my chair to make lunch and some art, but I may have to watch another episode very soon. It's a great series.

I've just seen the link of the underground portion of old Seattle. Thank you!
I am interested in the underground reality of the cities. Those places are isolated by time, but deeply connected with the world above.

I've have never heard of the movies. I will watch them next days, as the weather is going to be colder.

Have a nice week :-)

I love Laura Linney -- she always appears in quality shows and movies. I should check out The Ozarks!

I've never heard of either of these, but I don't have Netflix available to me. I think I'll pass on the tearjerker. Not my style, but Ozark sounds gripping.

I haven't resented being sequestered by COVID as much as some. I always have lots to keep me occupied and I am happy with my own company, or just Miriam and me. To have a few friends for dinner would be nice, but that will happen sooner or later. I have never been a fan if movies and don't subscribe to Netflix, so while your recommendations are appreciated, I won't be watching the films.

We feel the same about how life has changed since covid. I love having movies on to listen to while I do stuff in the house.

Happy for a new Netflix recommendation. Last week's THE DEVIL ALL THE TIME was great. I had to go back on OZARK and now I have finished season 4. It was great but it ended too fast with only 7 episodes.

I haven't watched any of Ozarks but it is in my watchlist.
Life hasn't changed as much for me since covid because I was housebound to begin with--but it has still managed to alter my world. Year three has begun.
