Saturday 1/22

 Happy Saturday!

I am happy to show you what I am working on. Clay has sort of take me by surprise and I am loving it. I have dabbled in different types of clays over the years but all of a sudden, I am mesmerized by it.
This is drying now, and I love this little creature. Can't wait to paint him.

We had tacos and tostada for dinner tonight. Made with my home canned ground beef and salsa. I am so glad I learned to can. It just makes mealtime so much easier. Blueberry muffin cake for desert. Yes, this is a muffin recipe but I just threw the batter into a pan.

I am also getting ready for 29 faces.

Last but certainly not least. Here is the first plant for this year's garden. The bottom of an onion.

That's it for now, have a great day

Nicole

I love what you are doing with clay, and that you are sharing the process with us--your satisfaction is contagious.

Dinner looks yummy, especially dessert!

And the rooting of a new plant always plants a smile on my face, so thanks for that too!

Nicole, I just planted onion also! Great minds. Cold and clear here, sunshine and beautiful, makes me think spring, but not yet. I love all your art.

I normally HATE seeing comment moderation, but it is good when I'm as far behind as I am visiting. My sincere apologies. I enjoyed reading that you like using clay. What a unique face you have created. Speaking of which, I look forward to your month of faces, too.

I love the looks of your meal and blueberry loaf. Great idea. And I hope your onion grows, too. I might start one, since I have tons of onions.
