Christmas Present TAD

Hi Everyone!

Because I am a bone head and can't see very well. ha ha ha.
Last week with TAD I again presented the wrong week. So this week I am doing last week. uuhh got that? LOL
The theme is supposed to be Christmas future and you can see mine here  Last week was Christmas present. Or did she mean a present you get at Christmas?  Ohh I am on a roll this AM. Hang in there with me, it's early.
So... since we don't celebrate Christmas there is no tree, or other decorations. We are probably having home made pizza for dinner and life goes on as always.  I will spend hours on the phone and face time with the kids, and my brothers.
In an earlier post I mentioned that I don't shop during Christmas. That's not entirely true. I am always looking for the best deals on what ever I purchase. Mr. M. calls me cheap, hhhhaaa cheap I am NOT! I just don't like being taken advantage of from stores and companies. I don't purchase anything that is not on sale. With that said I got the best deal on Amazon the other day. I needed metallic paints and found this 24 pack with brushes for $19.99 and of course free shipping.

I'm pretty happy with this purchase.

For all of you celebrating Christmas I do wish you
the happiest day, with laughter echoing through the house, good food with family and friends, memories made in this strange time we live but most of all I wish you love.

How exciting, metalic paints, I haven't used anything like this. I do have some lumiere which makes a nice silvery sheen and can be mixed or overlaid :)

You certainly got a really good deal on those metallic paints. I know you will use them to make your spirit dolls, too. Great buy.

I was given a gift card for $25.00 last year to a shop here in the states. I got two stencils (how much can a stencil weigh?) and they chaged me a flat $7.00 fee for shipping and handling. Instead of getting three stencils, I had to get two because of the charge they put on the shipping. Worst gift card EVER! So glad you made out better.

Merry Christmas to you, dear friend. I hope you have a safe, joyous, healthy holiday.

That's an amazing deal Nicole, no matter the season i'm addicted to buying paint. Love the thought of them all being metallic and I look forward to seeing what you create with them.
Wishing you and yours a happy, safe season may it be filled with lots of love and creativity. Hugs Tracey xx

Hmmm, Pizza is the best! We don´t celebrate, either, but I´ll make kale today (Ingo sadly doesn´t like Pizza much).
Have a great time.

Enjoy the pizza -- we had home made pizza last night. It was a lot of fun because several of us were the pizza makers and all of us were the pizza eaters.

Such a deal ... as the saying goes. You do well to look for sales. My problem is that I will buy things on sale that I don't really need, just because they are on sale. That defeats the purpose, I think :( So hope you have a warm, comfortable, safe week ... no need to celebrate to be happy, right?

Nicole,

I don't like being taken advantage of, either. I look for good bargains on every purchase we make. In all honesty, I don't know how people can afford to pay full retail prices. That's always baffled my mind Thanks for the lovely Christmas greetings, dearie!
