Movie Monday

Hi everyone!

Today and tomorrow something good is in line for me.
I can't tell you exactly what it is but I do need all the goodness the universe has  for me at this time. If you could send a prayer, a spell, a charm, light a candle, beat a drum, or do a dance, for me I would so very much appreciate it.
It will be a life changer for me.

I know that some of you think all I watch are horror movies with zombies and vampires. Mostly I do but I do like a good comedy at times. This movie crackes me up. Plus I like all of the actors in this one.
So let me tell you why I made this pick today.
In the movie there is a part where Vince Vaughn gets a shark scare. He has a tiny mark on his leg and after some debate with his wife and friends he says, " I am a shark attack survivor". It is hilarious, only because of Vince.
Sooooo. Friday I was cleaning and dusting. One of my shelves has animal bones and skulls. I have a shark jaw.
I picked the jaw up at the bottom thinking it was teeth free.
UHHH it is NOT! There is a cluster of tiny teeth and one of them punctured my middle finger. I let go of the jaw and looked at my finger. I could see it turning purple and thought, "Well this isn't good" I then applied a bit of pressure under the puncture and felt a pop and the blood came gushing out. OMG! there was blood on the shelf, the jaw, the floor, and down my arm. I grabbed the cleaning rag and put pressure on my finger. BTW it hurt like a son-of-a-gun.
As I was trying to stop the bleeding Mr. M. was cleaning the blood. This photo doesn't look like much but there was blood everywhere and my poor finger. It hurt for days. and oh, I told Mr. M. that I am a shark attack survivor.

Now take some time to get even more laughs with this movie
Couples Retreat

With Vince Vaughn, Jason Bateman, Kristen Bell, Jon Favreau, Malin Akerman, and Kristin Davis,
You can watch this on CBS and TNT free.

Thanks for sending good energy today.

o,dear. That was a fun one. Even if it was bad that you were hurt. If you have any small pieces to cut maybe you can use the teeth as a saw :)
Take care. Hope the wound is healed by now.

Sorry to read about your run in with the shark attack. It looks deadly and your finger looks sore. I have no idea who any of these actors are, except Kristen Bell, but I'm not really into comedy. The trailer was good, though.

Good luck today and tomorrow with whatever I'm dancing for (grin).

Nicole,

"Couples Retreat" has quite a number of big stars. The clip looks like the film has potential of being funny. I will see if I can find it available on one of our streaming services. Thanks for the recommendation. Your shark attack made me smile. You sound like me, get a little cut and you bleed like your finger had been severed.

You're in my thoughts and prayers for whatever you referring to, my friend. I hope you all have a blessed Thanksgiving! XOXO
