Hi Everyone!
I had a tough day yesterday. It's not that far into winter and already the dark, rainy, windy days are affecting me.
So nothing got done yesterday as hard as I tried.
I made these two items one day last week.
A new face mold, and the last of a leather face.
Wishing all of you a really great day.

...It's a funky wet day here today, there's no working in the garden today!
ReplyDeleteI hope your day goes from funk to funkadelic!
ReplyDeleteI hope today is better for you thank yesterday Nicole. We obviously need those days, but they can be so frustrating. Loving the new face from last week! Hugs Erika
ReplyDeleteI blamed my lethargy on my Covid booster, but now I wonder if it's just the days getting shorter. That mold is wonderful and I like the red leather you used, Nicole. Hope this fog lifts for both of us soon.
ReplyDeleteLovely pieces, feel better soon!
ReplyDeleteYou are entitled to a rest now ans then, you work so hard! Happy PPF, Valerie
ReplyDeleteNicole, I hope you get out of your funk!!! The leather face is GORGEOUS...
ReplyDeleteSending lots of distant reiki healing to you ~ 'funk' will pass ~ you do lovely art work ~ love the face ~ Xo

Your faces are wonderful Nicole!
ReplyDeleteI've been out walking twice today, the second time was with friends and their dogs which really lifted my spirits. It was chilly and a bit wet, but probably milder than where you are. I hope you're feeling better.

Seems the shorter days especially on dark , rainy days would make most feel like just vegging and doing little. Hope you get more energy back soon. Happy PPF!
ReplyDeleteLove the leather face. Yes, the dark days are here. Tired, I feel.
ReplyDeleteSo interesting, Nicole. 💗👍🏻🙂
ReplyDeleteExactly same here in Bangalore!
ReplyDeleteBoa tarde Nicole. Seu trabalho é espetacular e maravilhoso, parabéns.
ReplyDeleteGreat faces. Hope you break free from your funk soon.
ReplyDeletehope you have a better day, this dark gloomy weather does not help at all
ReplyDeleteNew York City is stormy, too. According to my brother, he saw a tree being uprooted by the wind. Scary, especially after all the flooding problems we've had.
ReplyDeleteI love your leather face. That sounds strange, lol! I mean I love the artwork. It looks beautiful and appealing. My sort of art. Something I would hang on my wall.
P.S. I hope the funk goes away soon.
ReplyDeleteThe faces are wunderful!
ReplyDeleteThe darkness gives me a lot of trouble for painting too. With us it is cloudy for days without sun. I hope you get better soon!
Hug, Elke
Some days are movies in slowmotion. Nowadays, I no longer stress if normal energy is not enough. Tomorrow is a new day!
ReplyDeleteWhen I went to Paris I saw many masks like the first one above. They were on the walls along the sidewalk in the neighborhood of Saint Germain des prés.
ReplyDeleteHave a nice Sunday 🍁
Yes, we have foggy days too. But I like the mystical mood. We say there are the "quiet Time" here in the Bavarian area. Time to sit down, have a candlelight.
ReplyDeleteBeing creative is always a pleasure.
By the way... in my Post I used a special hand written font named Sütterlin for my Kallizine.
Have a good time.
Love your leather piece and the color you gave it :)
ReplyDeleteI hope the funk soon passes for you.
ReplyDeleteI do like the leather face.
All the best Jan
i love cloudy rainy weather but i agree that if such weathers stays for long it effects our mood negatively ,being from east makes me love sun and sunny days more :)
ReplyDeleteamazing art and wonderful face !
