Movie Monday and other things

Happy Monday to all of you.

I watched/listened to a few movies this weekend while I kept myself busy with some household things.
I had forgotten about this first one. I actually own it and the sequel to it. However, I found it on Amazon. It is, " 30 days of Night." Yes a strange and wonderful zombie movie that takes place in the town of Barrow, AK. If you have never been to AK. it is dark 24/7 in winter, especially in Barrow. Perfect setting for these creatures.
This one stars Melissa George, Josh Hartnett, Danny Huston and Ben Foster.
I watched it on Amazon Prime.
you can also watch it on Hulu
or for free with ads on Pluto TV.

I did A LOT of canning on Sunday. I had to keep a close eye on the flames of my outdoor burner. It's getting low. So why not sit back and watch a movie on my movie player. I watched, "Wind Chill"
with Emily Blunt and Ashton Holmes.
Just before their university campus goes quiet for the winter break, a young woman (Emily Blunt) asks a classmate (Ashton Holmes) for a lift home. The two students set off on their trip and begin to get to know each other. But, when a reckless motorist drives them off the road, they find themselves stranded in the snow on a remote highway. As the night grows colder, the two are confronted by a horde of menacing apparitions -- and struggle to escape with their lives. I own this movie but you can watch it
Wind Chill streaming: where to watch online? You can buy "Wind Chill" on Apple iTunes, Google Play Movies, Vudu, Amazon Video, Microsoft Store, YouTube, DIRECTV as download or rent it on Apple iTunes, Google Play Movies, Vudu, Amazon Video, Microsoft Store, YouTube, DIRECTV online.

I will tell you about house hold things tomorrow.
Have a great Monday

Cool films. Yet I really wonder who lives in a place with 30 days of night?! I would get depressed for sure, the body needs sunlight. And the brain, too.

Murder mysteries I love but those kind of creepy something-or-someone-is-gunna-getcha ones aren't for me...even if I like Emily Blunt--LOL! :)
I do appreciate that you love them, though.

I fear I have to agree with Valerie this time. I am not a big fan of either of these films from your synopses. Glad they made you happy, though.

Nicole,

We watched the first film. It was scary. The second one we haven't and it looks like a good one. I hope I can find it at no extra cost to us to stream. Thanks!
