T Stnads for WaYYYY too busy.

  Hello Everyone!
I am sorry I missed you yesterday but I have been so busy that there is no time for anything else. I finally told the beading world that I am closing my Beadwirght store. For those of you who don't know I invented a fabric for beaders to bead on. It's called Nicole's BeadBacking. There is a host of other artistic  things one can do with NBB as well. Anyway, once I made it known the orders started pouring in. Not to mention some of the nicest emails from beaders all over the world. It's been quite an adventure lasting 50 plus years. 30 of them selling NBB. So that's what I have been doing.
I wanted to join in with Elizabeth and the T-gang and to catch you up on a few things. Like Movie Monday that didn't happen. I watched a movie entitled, "Sacrifice" with Barbara Crampton and Ludovic Huges.
After his mother's death, Isaac and his pregnant wife return to his birthplace on a remote Norwegian island to claim on unexpected inheritance. It is a strange and wonderful story and even though it's not that scary, I like it. I watched in on showtime on demand.

Before the sale stared I did have time for this abstract piece/
It started like this. It was plain, too clean.

I like this better. Messy, dirty and gritty.
I also made some cabbage rolls with cabbage from my garden. OMG! sooo good. We like gravy on our CR, not tomato sauce.
They start like this.
Add the gravy and bake.
I forgot to take a finished out of the oven shot.
I made some blueberry muffins for my neighbors.

and for dinner tonight I had a salad with cucumber from my garden. Along with a gillion other ingredients. BTW I don't put dressing on my salads. I like the taste of the actual salad.
To get into the T-party I had cold water with my dinner.

To end the post here are some photos of Elk from the Elk viewing area
Thanks for stopping by. I will get to all of your blogs as soon as I can.

What a fine accomplishment to own, create and keep your own store Nicole- and so wonderful to have people express their gratitudes to you as well. The cabbage rolls and muffins look delicious- as does the salad but I'd need some kind of something, like a vinaigrette on my salad:) Happy T day!

Nice you are harvesting from your garden. I would image once your business is done you'll have some more time for other forms of art and for everything, right? Great to see your yummy food and wow, those elk are great. Have a super T day. Hugs-Erika

Your cabbage rolls look delicious. You made me think, I put too much dressing on my salad.
:) I wish I was your neighbor. I bet they were grateful for the blueberry muffins; so kind of you. Happy T Day, Nicole.

Sorry you have closed down your store, but you had it for a good, long time. Your food looks really good, I am missing food like that just now, as I have to stick to a very bland diet still. Happy T day, Valerie

Sadly Hubby is not into movies and on my own it´s no fun.
Oh, that cabbage looks great but you´re the first person I "met" who has no dressing on the salad (I only give a splash of oil whilst hubby makes a fuss of many ingredients).
Great art again! The water-bottle really looks cool. Here it´s more like tea-time, so cold (for summer).
I´ve never seen an Elk in real life.
Thank you for a great post, happy T-Day!

Sad you had to close your store, Nicole, or maybe a happy thing as it will free you do other adventures. Your invention sounds very cool.

That movie sounds interesting, your art is very cool (love how you shared the change - I like the messy one better too), and your cabbage rolls and salad look awesome.

Great post and happy T-day! Don't work too hard!

H exciting to have invented something so useful . Your cabbage rolls look delicious, I would have gravy too, I don’t like tomatoe ketchup at all.
I’m not keen on much dressing either over here they mainly dribble olive oil over a salad.
Happy T Day

Those cabbage rolls look full to bursting with good stuff!

Great food, and how satisfying to have grown it! No more Beadwright? Does that mean no more beautiful cans! I always enjoy seeing those.

BTW, I agree with you about mask wearing! It's been a while since I visited you here. That's amazing that you invented something!!! You are one of the most creative people I know. Your garden is doing beautifully, as always. Take care.

I've never had cabbage rolls but I'd certainly try those. :) The muffins look delish as well.
Happy T day!

I am so sorry to read you are closing Beadwright. It must have been quite fulfilling to have invented that backing. I am sure people are going to miss your backing and your cabs, too. they are lovely.

Gotta love that messy painting. I also like the second version better. the first was too static. I can feel the movement in the after version.

Your cabbage rolls look wonderful. I would eat a dozen of them, I'm sure (grin). The muffins look great, too.

Thanks for sharing your art, your food, and that water with us for T this Tuesday, dear Nicole.

"Sacrifice" isn't available free for me, but I'll keep an eye out for it. It sounds like my kind of movie :) I like the 2nd piece better, too. We like grit here in Memphis ;) Your muffins look good and your salad, too. I don't eat dressing on mine, either. It sounds like the Elk Viewing Station would make a nice outing.

Nicole, lots of free time for the future, I’m sure you will fill that space with something good. I can’t wait. I am smugly admiring my stash of cabs and beads and NBB, just need some time away from gardens and baking to get a product going. On the planning table is a wall hanging of see no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil, but with skulls instead of other faces. Hope to start as soon as winter sets in.
We eat our cabbage rolls with a side of horseradish, had one relative that used tomato, ugh, not for me. D.

I sometimes have muffins like that at breakfast. We also cook cabbage rolls ... they are good.
Great pictures of the elk.
Stay safe, Nicole!

A fun abstract piece. I love that you are using produce from your garden to make yummy dishes. The cabbage rolls especially look delicious.
Happy Tea Day,
Kate

Your cabbage dish looks yummy and brought a happy memory of my neighbor, Prissy. She made Golumpki, but hers was in a tomato sauce. Mmm, blueberry muffins. I don't like a lot of salad dressing on my salad. Just a drizzle of Balsamic vinaigrette. I've only seen pictures of elk or maybe elk at a zoo. Happy T Day

You know what they say, Nicole? 😏 All things come to an end. 🤷‍♂️ Haven't hear of that Sacrifice movie... 'til now. 😉 Food looks good, so does your colorful art & of course, the animals. 🤎

Your cabbage rolls look absolutely delicious. A good friend, who died many years ago, used to make fabulous cabbage rolls, and always made a few extra to give to me. They were the best!!!
