Last night, around 7:30ish pm, our internet and TV went out. When I got up this AM I called Spectrum and of course the robot informed me that a fiber optic line had been damaged, and they are working on it. All systems came back on line at 8:45AM. So, I will be playing catch up today on comments.
Before that though, it's Movie Monday.
I was anxious to watch a Prime movie that started on the 2nd. entitled "The Tomorrow War" with Chris Pratt. Great story line, FANTASTIC creatures and an OK cast.
You know it's coming, wayyy too much fighting the creatures.
Also it's very predictable. But I did enjoy it.
I am not sure why film makers think the more fighting the better the movie. Or can someone please move away from the predictably format.
Would I recommend it? Yes, but it's a one timer.
The other movie I watched is
"Voice from the Stone." This has a great cast staring Emilia Clarke, (Daenerys Targaryen, the Khaleesi
from the Game of Thrones.)
This movie is strange and mysterious and had my attention through out the film. I did watch it on Prime.
Verena (Emilia Clarke) is a determined young nurse hired to help a
mute young heir (Edward Dring) within an isolated castle in Tuscany.
The more she observes the boy, the more Verena becomes convinced he has
fallen under the spell of a powerful and otherworldly
persona, thought to be his dead mother, trapped in
the villa's stone walls,
one that seems to be rapidly entwining with
her own.
I hope you get a chance to watch
either or both of these movies.
Let me know what you have been watching in the comments.

Not Everyone Without A Mask Is Vaccinated.
I will probably get to both of these due to the fact I like Chris Pratt and Emilia Clarke. Neither of them grab my attention plot-wise but I do watch shows because of the actors somertimes, for sure. ;)
Your last statement is right on the mark. We all need to take personal responsibility, in addition to whatever mandates or recommendations are imposed by the authorities. The simple act of wearing a mask is so important, and so beneficial to the general welfare of everyone, yet sadly it remains controversial for some.
i liked both movies ,first one sounds interesting though second one is my type i stopped playing trailer on laptop as it was nice enough to watch on bigger screen Tuscany and castle sound fascinating including story ,thank you for sharing dear Nichole
We have the first movie in our cue to watch. Judging by the trailer it can go either way with us but I'm willing to give it a try. The second movie looks like it could be an interesting late night film to give you a little fright which I'm all up for. Over the weekend, we watched "The Wolfman" with Anthony Hopkins on Peacock which was quite good if you haven't seen it yet. Thanks for stopping by to vote in my June 1st battle of the bands and I'm sorry for dragging my heels with my return visit, dear-heart!

I've been there and it isn't pleasant. I have no way to watch these but I appreciate the reviews.
