Hi Everyone!
I have a lot to do today, so last night I told myself I needed to get up early today. When I woke up, I didn't look at the clock. I thought it was around 6AM. I made my way down the stairs and into the kitchen, where the wall clock is blaring at me it's only 4AM. Uhhhgg. Hey, I told myself I wanted to get up early so here I am. LOL.
Today is T-day with Elizabeth and I am looking forward to seeing what the T-gang are up to. For me I started a painting last night. Sometimes I know what I want to create, but last night all I knew was that I wanted to paint. Ya know with NO blue. LOL
It's a WIP and I will be making some changes to the sky. Other than that I like where this is going.
As most of you know Mr. M. has a sweet tooth. Not every night but he does like something for dessert. Since our weather has gone back to it's normal cold, I bake a spice cake for Mr. M.
To get into the T party today here is my drink
Strawberry and Apple smoothie.
It was so good.
I am off to get this day started.

ReplyDeleteI dreamed (twice even!) my clock went off. - went to brush my teeth etc, etc and wondered why there were no news on TV but some rubbish.
Same as you... And when I realized I was fully dressed (it was winter). And you cannot open the main door for the office before 05:45 a.m.!
Twice.
No blue here, either, all grey.

ReplyDeleteLove your beautiful painting Nicole and you are certainly mastering the clouds!! My hubby has a sweet tooth as well- so I bake a lot;) I'd prefer your smoothie, and that reminded me to get out my Nutri Bullet as I have spinach and a mango waiting . Happy T day!

I've done that too. Want to get up early and then wake up at like 4. Of course if I managed to fall back asleep then I get groggy, so it is better just to stay up. Your spice cake looks delicious and nice painting.Hope it was a good T day Nicole.

ReplyDeleteNicole, happy late T-day - work got in the way of me being on time. Your painting is looking fabulous! You have so much talent. My hubby has a sweet tooth too - so much so he would have waited for the icing (the best part according to him). That drink looks and sounds awesome - I have been craving a smoothie and need to get some ingredients to make one. TFS!

I can't wait to see the finished work. Yum, that cake looks good! The smoothie looks tasty, too. Do you know, I've never had a smoothie? It's true. I need to change that, huh? :D
Oh yes, I've done that too once or twice. Once I was on night duty and I slept in the day. I woke up and I looked at the clock and it showed 9 o'clock. I thought I was going to be late for work (started at 10), so I got dressed, had breakfast, only to find outside was broad daylight! It was 9 in the morning! That was a weird experience.
