What a beautiful & impressive garden, Nicole. 💚 Seriously, you did a great job and it sooo paid off! 👏🏻 Hey, at least you have cauliflower, most people don't, so... You're a lucky girl! 🙂
ReplyDeleteAnd yum at your squash! Can you believe I've never had it as a chips? It's cool. Unusual. I like to try everything so, I just may in the future. 💚
I think you can buy squash chips at health food stores but if you make your own be sure to season them. They are so good.
DeleteOH how nice!!!! Look at those spuds and I'm SO JEALOUS that you have cauliflower!!! I think I had that exact same dehydrator! Or a similar brand, it was round like that one and did the job, I found it loud though. Good for you Nicole, you have a green thumb!!! :)
ReplyDeleteI wish you lived closer we could share. The dehydrator is actually pretty quiet, but heats the house up so I will start using it on the back porch.
DeleteThanks for sharing, what a treat to see your lovely plants.
ReplyDeleteI love all your fresh veggies!
ReplyDeleteYou have a fine harvest! Congratulations! I think the blue flowering plant you are asking about is borage (Borago officinalis) - it is used as a herb and medicinal plant. It is originally native to the Mediterranean area and has been cultivated in Central Europe since the late Middle Ages. Bees love it!

The garden is full of lovely plants and veggies. I think that flower is clary sage. Happy weekend, Valerie
ReplyDeleteHow nice! I think the plant looks like Borago officinalis.
ReplyDelete...your garden is looking great!
ReplyDeleteYou will really be eating well as the summer progresses! We have only shade in our yard, so no veggies.
ReplyDeleteJust a few herbs in pots in one good spot.

We have such a dryer, too - great idea to make Chips with this, thank you!!!!
ReplyDeleteSo far we only made Jerky and I saw recipes for the oven oly. I will go for this!
Thank you!
Have a great Sunday (Monday? - what´s your time? Here it´s Sunday, 10:25 a.m., just before our kid´s program starts (we still watch it as I grew up with it and Ingo even joins!)).
I agree with the comment above. That plant looks like borage to me, too. Your garden has a lot to offer. Exciting! The dehydrator looks useful.
ReplyDeleteWow! What a wonderful garden and awesome photos ~ Xo

What a marvelous garden! Those tomatoes fruits will get sugar and water content in less than two weeks.🍅
ReplyDeleteI am curious to see your sunflowers. 🌻🌻🌻
Have a nice week, Nicole!
You have many types of edibles growing in your garden. The plants are doing very well and very healthy and fruitful too. Your harvest is plentiful. Have a wonderful week.
ReplyDeletetiny tomaates 😀 we didnt grow any this year since they didnt grow very well last year
ReplyDeleteWow Nicole, I am jealous! LOL! Amazing! Sorry, I don't know what that plant is? Maybe it's some sort of "weed". Big Hugs!
ReplyDeleteYes, the unknown plant looks like borage (called Borretsch in German). It's a great plant for pollinators and is usually self seeding. If you have it once, it will be there forever. *LOL* The flowers are great for decorating salads or other food and have a cucumber like taste. Your garden looks great!
ReplyDeleteOh lovely post , I love all the blooms and harvest looks drooling. Thanks for sharing with Garden Affair.
