Greetings!
Here it is Thursday and that means an art date with Rain. Ya know TAD. The theme is Evening. The first thing that came to my mind is the many nights Mr. M. and I spent in a teepee in the Bitterroot Mt. in N. Idaho. Those were the best days of my life. Living remote in some of the most beautiful land there is.
My painting doesn't do it justice but here it is.
As for the night, I love the night. I love being out at night especially in the woods, or the desert, or the flat lands.
Oh I just like night.
Above and below Abstract Night
I also made a rolled up cannelloni type thingy for dinner yesterday. I had some left over spaghetti sauce in the freezer, cooked up some ground beef and grated some cheese. I made some homemade pizza dough and when it was ready rolled it out into a rectangle. I spread the ingredients to cover the dough then rolled it up. I placed it on the stone and baked it for 13 minutes. OMG!!!!! it was so good. It was even better cold today. :)
Be sure to stop by Rain's to see all of
the other artists joining in.

ReplyDeletemy favorites today are the first three Evening paintings. Three different mods, all beautiful.
ReplyDeleteTake care. It is a grey day today, but as I wrote this, a glimpse of sunshine came trough. :)
Nicole,
ReplyDeleteI like being outdoors on beautiful summer nights sitting by an open fire or star gazing. I haven't done either in a very long time. Great paintings for this week prompt. Your meal looks yummy. It looks a bit like a Stromboli. Now, I want one! :)
Your paintings are gorgeous and your stories, mind boggling. Living in a Teepee, OMG, how awesome and in Idaho (I was born in Idaho, but sadly my parents moved before I was old enough to remember it ... we do have a lot of beautiful pictures though:). Okay, cooking on a stone ... new to me. Care to say more about it ... I am curious :). What a great post, Nicole ...

Oooh that food!!! It looks like a stromboli! Well done. I love all of your art, especially the abstracts! And I'm so envious of how you lived in a teepee off the land like that! How special! :)
