T Stands for Short Post

 Greetings!

Today is T-Tuesday over at Elizabeth and Bleubeard's. So stop by there to see what the T-gang are up to.
It has turned cold and with the rain it is bone chilling. So what is better than hot coco to warm the insides?
Mr. M. and I watched movies last night wrapped up in our handmade blankets made by my niece a few years ago.
She made mine in Native style with red backing.
 It is so warm.
For art I have a piece that has been on my easel for over a week. I am hoping to work in it today along with some commission pieces. I think it is off to a good start. I have limited my pallet to student colors.
Red, Black, Yellow Ocra and white.
We will see how it turns out.

That's it for me today. Wishing all of you a great day.

  1. That's a lovely blanket, Nicole. Your face is coming along nicely, too. I'm amazed you are capturing that using student grade colors.

I agree that cocoa is great on a cold day. Thanks for sharing it, along with your art and beautiful blanket with us for T this Tuesday. So glad to see you here, too.

  4. Your unfinished piece looks haunting as is, might it be close to finished? I have you beat. My easel holds a piece I started at least a month ago!

  5. That's a great blanket. That style is both beautiful and timeless. And I bet the blanket keeps you warm too. We are having just opposite weather today. But it is only suppose to last a couple of days and then get chilly again. Stay warm and have a great T day.

  8. Nothing like a hot cuppa and a warm blanket to snuggle with when it's cold! I felt the same all weekend but it is finally warming up quite nicely:) Looking forward to seeing your painting progress. Happy T day!

  13. we have a couple of African masks that resemble your painting -- a very simplified face without eye detail. Interesting.
