T stands for art, garden and rolls

Greetings!

Today is Tuesday and after I write this I will be off to the dentist. uuuhhgggg....
Before that though I want to spend some time with the T-gang over at Bleubeard and Elizabeth's
My drink is hot water with ground cinnamon. It is so good for you and a great way to get some of your daily H/20 quota.
I am watching a movie while sketching out the next face for 29 faces. This was last night.

 Just getting started
Mr. M. got my greenhouse set up and reinforced on our deck.
It is supposed to be nice the next few days and I will get my tables and a few plants inside.
My friend, Donna Z who moved from Florence, is trying my pizza dough recipe. I also wanted to let her, and everyone else, know that this dough makes the best rolls or bread. I made these last week, Ohhhh so good.

This makes 2 pizza crusts so I cut the recipe in half.

2 packets (1/4 oz each or 2 1/4t each) dry active yeast
1 1/2 cup warm water
2Tbls sugar
1/4 cup olive or grapeseed oil, plus more for the bowl.
2t salt
4 cups of all purpose flour. Plus more for work space.

Pour 1 1/2 cup warm water into a large bowl. Sprinkle yeast and let stand until foamy. About 5 minutes.
2. Whisk sugar, oil, and salt into yeast mixture. Then add flour until a sticky dough forms. Transfer dough to an oiled bowl and brush top with oil. Cover with plastic wrap and set aside in a warm draft-free place. Allow to double in size for about an hour. Turn out onto a lightly floured work surface and gently knead 1 or 2 times. Roll the dough evenly until you have about a 10 inch tube shape. Cut dough into rolls and place on a lightly buttered sheet pan. Bake at 350° F until rolls are golden. check your oven. Mine takes about 10 minutes.

That's it I am off to the dentist.

My dentist is an hour away. I know it is time for a cleaning but I don't want to make the drive in this COVID/cold weather. At least I have had my first Vaccine. Will get the second March 19th. I keep loving your 29FACES sketches.

...the greenhouse looks nice and so does the sunshine. I just got in from knocking down ice from the gutters, the snow was almost up to my knees!

My mother did a lot of art work (for which she was paid tiny amounts but it meant a lot to her) and had a hard-and-fast rule that no beverages could be placed on her drawing table. I think there may have been a disastrous spill at some time before I remember. So I am always uneasy at photos like yours!

I like water, and I like teas with cinnamon, but I've never had cinnamon water. The rolls look delicious. Thanks for the recipe :)

Good luck at the dentist. I've started double-masking on my rare trips to the store. Happy T Tuesday!

I'm usually tired of drinking water but, I recently (again) made it !a must! for me every day. So, I drink a lot of water every single day and I feel great. It's boring, sure but your mix does sound like a good & refreshing idea! 👍🏻😉

And yum at that dought! 🧡

Oh how nice to be thinking of gardening again! Won't be doing that here for quite awhile yet...
thanks for the dough recipe- I have a similar one but mine uses the Rapid Rise yeast so it only rests about 15 min. and I don't have to knead it. Good luck with the dentist visit, and happy T day!

I absolutely love your faces. This one looks great already.

So glad you are able to get the greenhouse going. You would need to dig through snow to put one up in my world, although it has warmed drastically since Sunday. Good luck with the dentist. I'll wait till I'm vaccinated, which may be mid-summer.

I make it a point to use my lidded mug anytime I'm around art. I never want to accidentally drink paint water. Your cinnamon water sounds good, but I would need something more in it, I fear.

Thanks for sharing your lovely pizza/biscuit dough recipe, your face, and your cinnamon water with us for T this Tuesday, dear Nicole. Good luck at the dentist, dear.

I just read your comment, Nicole. That tool USED to be the NUMBER 1 item listed on Amazon and now it is no longer there. PERIOD. Maybe it will reappear at some time in the future. It is the handiest device I've got.

Great start to the face. I've not tried cinnamon in water. I sometimes have fresh ginger or ginger and lemon.

I've been avoiding the dentist and eye doctor since covid. Good luck! I hope it all went well.
I love lemon water the best. Am enjoying all your faces. :)

That greenhouse looks useful! Interesting recipi ... I will give it a try, although I would have never thought of grapeseed oil.

Hope the dentist wasn't too bad. I love your greenhouse. That should give your plants lots of happy grow time and give you lots of fun growing those plants. I bought a small one end of season last year to start a few plants in my garden, but yours is way bigger than the one I picked up. Enjoy. Thanks for the roll/pizza dough recipe too. Hope it was a happy T day.

A greenhouse, wonderful! The bread looks good, too, now I want to make pizza!!!
Hope the dentist went well. Ewww....
Mine told Hubby last time on his visit how proud she was of me for daring to come in just for a check-up, LOL - took me a lot of courage! She found nothing but said I should come back in April, oh, help, that´s soon!

Your bread rolls look tasty but I’m useless at making bread!
I’m resisting going to the dentist for my clean until things are better, seems too close for comfort to have someone leaning over me even with a mask on. I like your greenhouse, look forward to seeing what you grow in there

I hope all went well at the dentist. It's never a pleasant experience, however nice the dentist.
Your green house looks great. It's huge actually. You van do a lot with that! I couldn't have one like yours unfortunately our climate is very stormy and windy and it would blow to shreds in no time.
Your face is looking really good. You are getting expert at this!
Happy T-Day,
Lisca
