Greetings!
Here it is Paint Party Friday and I actually have a new painting. Something clicked today and I actually got my started projects working. I'll show those later on, for PPF. I have an acrylic abstract that was fun to create.
If you know me at all I hate to waste anything, most of all paint. So, left over from the pallet,
painting only with my fingers.
I call this
"Joy"
I don't manipulate the colors of my photos. I do crop and size but the colors I leave. For some reason the blues really shot forward when in reality there is a lot of rich browns in the photo. It is however, dark and over cast and not much good light for photos in my house. Still, I created this with happiness.
Come see what all of the other artists have created at
Also joining in at Off the Wall Friday
Be Save Out There And Wear A Mask.

ReplyDeleteHappy PPF!
So colorful, Nicole. I love it! 🧡💙💛
ReplyDeleteGlad you post your original, unedited work. 👍🏻
Happy indeed! Yips, I hate wasting, too. Hubby uses to say "you won´t get rich that way", but that´s not the point, right!
ReplyDeleteLooks great, especially on this grey day (again!).
Very colorful and eye catching! Sometimes I press a blank sheet of multi-media paper on top of paint left on my palette. It’s not alway a success like yours, but is definitely always interesting.
ReplyDeleteI see happiness in all your work.
ReplyDeleteCan see the joy and movement in your lovely abstract painting ~ love it!

What a great idea to use up left over paint, I could do that in some of my journals.

ReplyDeleteHello Nicole,
ReplyDeleteI got from Christine a message, that you have troubles to access my blog.
I cannot say why. Several months ago Deborah(?) told same but she wrote that tried to access from Paint Party Friday page. It is not safe, you see it in its blog address. My blog setting is https:// which is a safe setting.
Have a nice weekend xx
It looks interesting and joyful. I haven't tried abstract yet. :)
ReplyDeleteThere is a joyful feel to this painting mixed with exuberance.
ReplyDeleteIn my blog there is no virus. I have McAfee life safe in my blog + https://korttipaikka.blogspot.fi, which is safe setting.
ReplyDeleteI love the brilliant colors! Makes me happy. When I have issues with blogs I try using Firefox instead of Chrome. Often that lets me in. Thanks for visiting my blog!
