T stands for Tuesday Drink and Art

Hi Everyone!

I slept in this morning. I got up around 7 AM. I am normally up and runnin' by 5:30. So this morning feels like I am behind in my daily routine. Plus I feel drugged, as if I can't wake up. LOL
Today is T stands for Tuesday over at Bluebeard and Elizabeth's blog. I can't wait to get over there to see what Elizabeth has shared along with the rest of the T gang. For me, after I wake up, I will be getting jugs cut and ready to start my winter sowing garden. If you have not heard of it you can check it out here.   Or watch this short vidi. The idea has been around for a long time and I tried it with a few plants last year. It works.
If you have tried this let me know in the comments how it worked for you.

My problem is the rain and more so the wind. I will need to make some sort of wind shield so the jugs don't blow way.

How do you truly feel?
I find that I am tired.
Tired of the BS in the US.
I should make a T-shirt with that saying. LOL
It is exhausting living here. Even if I don't watch the news.
Some people in my state have gone off the deep end. They are so ramped up they are not thinking straight. Then, of course, they are believing the conspiracy and lies that are being spread. I try to look at all of this as a history lesson, and hope that there are people who, in the future, will tell the truth, give the facts that really happened in 2016 to 2021.
So with that here is my drink for yesterday.

One of the ladies who used to join us for T Tuesday used the jugs to plant her winter garden. I've not tried it, even though hers worked in the snow and ice.

Beer is a bit too cold for me right now, but it looks good regardless. Thanks for sharing this planting concept with us, along with your beer, for T this Tuesday, dear Nicole.

I used to start my seeds indoors starting in January or February. They were nice and hardy and ready to go outdoors by March. Then we got two or three plantings out of the short WI growing season.

How do I truly feel? I have good days and bad. Life has changed so dramatically and many are suffering. I know this too shall pass. I hang on to my faith.

Happy T-day! Hugs, Eileen

That looks like a great way to start a garden. I am jealous you can start yours so early. I take it you don't get snow. I'm with you about the crazy world right now. I hope the truth does eventually come out about so many things, and I hope as a country we can make it that long in one piece. We are sadly so divided. Hope you have a great T day and get back on track tomorrow. Hope it was a nice T day. hugs-Erika

Hi Nicole. I watched that video this morning. I get it now. Thanks for the link! I think I was confused with your photo and reading your blog at night after a busy afternoon. I think I am going to give it a try come March (since that would be a good time for my area). I do have a cold frame that I use come April to get a good start, but it doesn't work here in the winter as it gets buried with winter snows usually, so no sun. Anyhow, sorry to babbly but thanks again for sending that. I am now more informed about what it is.

gardening is healing indeed dear Nichole

we too are having rains throughout the country ,slightly cloudy here today too

i came across with news of conspiracy about Bill gates from Martha's blog which sounds weird and just conspiracy to me either Bill lives on planet earth too not on moon and most probably he is a reasonable man
hope all goes great with Christmas at your land dear friend
blessings to you and family!

Nicole,

Not being a gardener I can't comment on this system but it sounds interesting and if I were a gardener this would be fabulous to jump start your spring growing season.

I hope you and your family have a nice Christmas, my friend. May God bless you always! {{Hugs}}

PS: Don't worry about falling behind in Blogosphere. It happens to us all, especially during he holiday season. ;)

I like the jug planters. I'm having issues with sadness and insomnia, as I'm fine myself but can't escape the tragedy around me :( I agree: "It is exhausting living here."

I'm having a bit of an off day today, but I did have a little sort out in my studio, threw some things away, which was satisfying. And I finally made some art. Now it's too late to make dinner! Lol
Hope the seeds do well.

I hope your plants do okay. I try to avoid the news, because I don't want to hear about the BS from all political parties. Happy Holidays and Happy belated T-Day!
