AEDM day 15

 Hi Everyone!

Well the 70mph gusty wind finally did it. Kicked the power off for about 5 hours. I say finally because in the 15 years I have lived here and with all the stormy, high wind days this is only the 2 time the power has gone out. Yes, my house is freezing.
Oh well, that is life and one must deal with it right? LOL
Yesterday, before the storm really started up again, I got the yard picked up and the rest of the garden covered. I brought the herbs inside and when the sun comes up I will go check for damage again. But for now let's look at art. It is day 15 for AEDM.

Another abstract flower piece

And a little more done on this face.

Be Safe Out There
and enjoy your day.

Nice abstract flowers and beautiful drawing additions today. Hope everything held up from the wind and the house heats up soon. Happy rest of your weekend!

I love that flower piece. I hope the wind doesn't do too much damage, and I hope your power stays on so you can stay warm.

...everytime I hear about people losing their electric, I think of my Amish friends. They have none to lose.

Lovely flower painting and that portrait is coming along beautifully!

I'm not a big fan of storms or gusty winds. We've been fairly lucky here too in regards to power blackouts from storms...we're in our 14th year and, like you, we've only lost power a couple of times and for no more than an hour. My sister lives a few blocks away and they have lost power a lot more...they must be on a different power grid to us.

Stay safe and well. :)

It's been very gusty here, too. I am just glad I didn't lose power, but at least it's not as cold here, except overnight.

I love your floral abstract. I look at it one way and I see flowers. I look at it another way and I see fireworks. It's fabulous. I'm enjoying your other painting, too, Nicole.

Wonderful art, both pieces, you sure have "it"!
I also hope you have your power back! Being off power never happened to me. (unless chosen as it being out in the bush or outback)
