TAD with Rain Urban Legends

Hi Everyone!

Well, I had a very cool art piece for today's theme for TAD but I ran out of time and didn't get it finished. Boo hoo hoo. However, there are a few things about urban legends I can share. Every place in the world has an U. L. If you want to see just one in your state check out this sight.

I didn't realize that there are some pretty good ones very close to my home. The most famous is the Rue or gray lady of the Heceta lighthouse.  Also this is the most photographed light house in the world and is a B&B    Oregon Urban Legands

So because I didn't get my project finished, I will show some spooky art from the past.
The reason I didn't get my TAD done is because I was working on my commission. If you come back tomorrow I will show what I have been doing. I'll post it with PPF.

The forest is always a bit spooky at night. There are several U.L. about the forest and a very good movie about this is simply call the "The Forest" with Natalie Dormor. One of my faves.

Again I apologize for not having my project finished, but I hope this in some way fits the bill.
Be sure to stop by TAD with Rain to see what all the artist have come up with.
Also stop by here tomorrow to see what has been keeping me so busy.

Be safe out there.

OMG that's an amazing trailer, I've seen that movie and it's time I watch it again! It was really creepy! I love your art Nicole...that forest is awesome and nice creepy nun too!! Horror and religion is a favourite theme I like in movies, I'm really into those exorcist movies a lot. If you post your urban legend piece tomorrow, just put it into the linky if you think about it! The linky expires Friday at midnight!

Very spooky! We were walking through a churchyard early this morning in the dark, that was a bit spooky 😳

Nice spooky and beautifully done pieces. I need to go check out those Japanese urban legends you linked up to. Although I must admit I am not into super spooky!

Some spooky pieces. Your forest looks ominous. And all those links. Good response to Rain's prompt

You may not have finished your chosen entry, but you certainly provided us with a lot to consider, like being able to find an urban legend close to home. I LOVE the spooky woods and the nun, too. You came up with some very clever examples of urban legends, dear.

doesn't matter if it's not been created today, it's still interesting :) I like your haunted woods.

Well, I watched your trailer and I will be reluctant to enter a forest again ... at least not at night when they are always scary. I love your leather skulls and your creepy Nun ... I think you did a fine job filling in on what you didn't finish (Will we ever see what you started for this post?). Now I think I will go check out the Creepy Urban Legends site to see what I have missed all of these years in my state. You came through beautifully in spite of not as you planned ...

I like lighthouses and forests :)

I love lighthouses and have a collection of them and have always had a fascination with trees, barren, dead, stand alone trees...who knows why.
I hope you share your project later with us.

The Forest is on Netflix, but I haven't seen it yet. Wooded places strike a chord with me. Community legends are often unknown outside the community, while some seem to become widely known.

Beautiful, beautiful trees! I so love that one. Not so sure about the nun, lol... you are so gifted, Nicole. Hope you're feeling much better since your fall.
