TAD with Rain

Hi Everyone!
It is time for another theme from Rain and Thursday Art Date
This week she has really done it. It is architecture.  YIKES.
What is architecture? I looked it up.
The art or practice of designing and constructing buildings.
Or
The complex or carefully designed structure of something.
"the chemical architecture of the human brain."

The above sentence really strikes me.
The chemical architecture of the human brain. I love that.
Most of you know I share my body with lupus. Part of the disease is in my brain and central nervous system.
So coming upon this makes sense to me.
This is the human brain and the mapping of the architecture of the human brain.
It is brilliant, isn't it?

This is what my house would look like if I built one and I would love it!

I hope all of you have a wonderful day.

I wrote this post in the new blogger format. OMG! when I published it the
text was all over the place. I will stay with legacy until I can't any longer.
FB is changing their format and it sucks even worse. LOL

Wonderful post! *LOL* The new blogger format was even worse in the beginning. *LOL* I tried to add tags to my posts and had to look through about 200 or more tags to find the correct ones.

Nicole,

The human body is a beautifully complex and wonderful piece of architecture. Why didn't I even think of this? The brain is a wonderful creation, without it we can't do anything. It's the human CPU connecting every limb, nerve, muscle, and sensory into motion with precision. Okay...precision might be questionable for some of us at times, like me. :) As always I enjoy reviewing your paintings. I'd love to do what you do and maybe one day I'll attempt it. My dear uncle's wife has lupus. She has so many health issues which are related to the disease. Blog platforms often go through formatting changes which can drive you bonkers. I always "Preview" my posts before I schedule them to publish. That helps a lot but sometimes something gets screwed up. I'm with you, I don't like FB's new layout, either. That's okay because I'm not on there a whole lot anyhow. Now, to work my way back to last week's contribution. Again, I'm sorry for not getting over here before now! Let's hope I can stay on top of things today. ;) Have a doodletastic day, my dear!

Sorry you suffer that. You are such a positive person I´d never guessed.
Architecture, I´m "sadly" done with that.
Ha. Yah. Blogger. And FB now, too??? Haven´t seen a change yet (oh, please, noooo).

I'm particularly attracted to those abstracts.

I'm not having trouble with formatting in new blogger on my laptop so far...

I do love your positive attitude. Wonderful abstract artwork, inclusion of the brain was a great idea! The watercolour industrial architecture is probably my favourite.

I apologize for taking so long to visit. It was definitely beyond my control. I'm trying to catch up, but it's harder than I actually imagined it would be.

I love the architectural matching of the brain. That was brilliant and NOT one anyone else would have thought of.

I love your dream home. I could live there, too. I like big houses. And your abstracts are simply amazing, dear.

I've been watching the news in OR and it's not good. Please stay safe and have a plan, as you suggested before that you have. I'm still using Legacy blogger, and will until they force me to move over.

Brilliant!!! Our Brain Architecture is what enables any architecture so why not start there. Lupus is a difficult disease and I am so sorry you have to live with it, but perhaps you can appreciate things more and think in corners others cannot, because of it. If you can't control it(if given a lemon) make lemonade. You have obviously risen above it and continue to be a powerful force to the people who know you and as your talent demonstrates. Be well and be extra safe, I love your presence in my life's circle.

yes, the brain is Architecture and you found some beautiful images so show it.

Love your paintings, but I see one that is almost good for Halloween. The second black and white one. The buildings seem to be screaming as there are ghosts over the rooftops. :) Take care

Hi Nicole :) I do love how you depicted the brain, it is very cool, though lupus is not. Your dream house is fabulous, very German Expressionist! :)
