Hi Everyone!
Yesterday was a good day. We had some batteries on rain check at the True Value. It is just up the road from my house. Then we headed south to the next bigger town about 20 miles away. The town is Reedsport and the population is just over 4,000. The drive is pretty and it was nice to get out. Our destination ACE Hardware. ( A little tidbit, I could spend all day in a hardware store. LOL) ACE has different and some very cool items. The canning section is far superior to True Value and I got some small things that I needed. Then we turn and there is a canning pressure cooker. Uhhhh yeah M. Mr. insisted. 😁 So now I am totally equipped for my new adventures in canning. On the ride home we stopped at Tahkenitch Lake camp ground. We spoke to the grounds keeper a very nice lady who said good thing we didn't come on the weekend. I won't get into how the tourists think it's normal times. Anyway I wanted to share some photos. Enjoy a bit of Oregon.

Lovely photos. Glad you were able to get out a bit. My neighbour and I also love hardware stores and garden stores! Have fun canning with your new equipment, I'm sure it's better than anything you can buy! Stay safe and well! Valerie
