Hey Donna

Hi Everyone!

A shout out to my very good friend Donna. Donna lived just north of me here in Florence and recently moved away. She is a gardener extraordinaire. Over some dozen years Donna tried to get me to start a garden. I was very busy then, and with all the weather, especially wind I just wasn't into it. When I told Donna I was gardening now she was very happy, however, I should have paid more attention to what she was doing right? I said all of that to say, Donna, I am now growing corn. LOL. There was a small tree in my side yard that over the year was dying. Mr. M. removed the tree a few weeks ago and planted some grass seed there. Right away we noticed 2 seedlings coming up. They are growing fast and I wanted to know what the heck the are. I took some photos and asked on FB. OMG! 20 comments in a matter of minutes to tell me it's corn.
How darn cool is that?

  1. Your garden is doing nicely. My balcony is not big enough for veggies, pity! Have a nice day, Valerie
