Wednesday 4 29

Hi Everyone!

Today is 100% humidity. No it is NOT raining yet. The air is wet from the ocean and windy cold. It is suppose to rain this afternoon but the black cloud over my house say much sooner. I really do need a green house. Or some kind of shelter for my plants.
So our state is going to open up in what is phase 1. Part of that is doctors, surgery centers, and other medical. This means that we will be driving to Salem for Mr. M. to get a well over due injection in his back. I am not excited about this at all but Mr. M. can barley walk so as soon as they call we will be on the road. What is your state or country doing to open up? For me, and millions of others, I think this is too soon. People already don't follow the lock down rules, now that things are opening we will see a huge spike in covid.

I have not had much time to create this week.  You would think staying at home 24/7 that I would have all the time there is. However, I actually had to work this week. I did get this drawing done. I really need to go back to my good paper. This is done on PC paper. It doesn't allow blending very well, but here she is.

Oh and here is the pizza Mr. M. made me for my birthday. I know this is crazy to show this but he make if from scratch all by himself. I kinda like this stuck-at-home thing. LOL
Oh and yes, I started eating meat.

Have a wonderful Wednesday. Make it special just for you.

My province of Alberta hasn't started opening up yet. They're talking maybe in a couple of weeks some restrictions will be slightly loosened.

Beautiful face Nicole. I hope the new situation will not be abused by those stupid who think rules are only go others. Take care, Valerie

Hi! Your drawing is wonderful, I think you have the hair perfect now! So what’s happening to open up here? Not much, it’s. NJ! I’m with you, I think it might be too soon anyhow. Stay well!

Wow! What got you eating meat, then? I was a veggie for around 3 years but I couldn't manage it quite the same when I went to live and work in France. No time to play cooking and nowhere near as many alternatives around then.
I love your drawing - I like the position of her head and her expression.
Love your hubby's pizza - that's amazing for a first try. It's a long time since I made one of those, but mainly cos I haven't eaten white bread for around 40 years. Making your own bread ruins you for ever ;-)
We're still in full lockdown over here, Nicole. But you wouldn't think it if you heard the traffic outside my door. People are getting more and more lax. We'll see what happens next week, when the review happens and I'm sure that will depend on figures. So sad.
Stay safe and sending elbow hugs back to you!

Hope your birthday was a good one. I like the looks of your pizza, even though I've been a vegetarian for about 8 years. Sometimes you just have to break down and eat a bit of meat, I think. I had a hamburger last year and it was enough to satisfy my craving. Your husband made a great pizza.

We are set to open May 4, unless our Governor changes her mind. She shut down schools for the rest of this semester before a lot of other states did. I can assure you, I've been here since March 14 and I'm not going anywhere any time soon. I need a driver's license, but am NOT going to put my face in that thing needed to test your eyes. I'll pay a fine before I expose myself to that thing. Stay safe and take care when you have to go for your husband's injection, dear.

A wonderful portrait, and the pizza looks yummy! Belated birthday wishes Nicole, I hope you had a good day.
They are talking about easing lockdown here, but I think our prime minister is being more cautious than your president fortunately, having suffered the virus first hand.
Thanks for your wishes re my hand, hard to type with my left!
Keep safe,
Alison xx

the pizza looks delicious and all the best your husband. Your drawing has become very beautiful. I notice real paper with some things would be better.
I am also breathed as it is with the virus and the loosening!
Take care of yourself, hugs Elke

Love all the yummy art you've shown here! And I think pizza could be art too. Here in NY we have a cautios governor who has seen devastation first hand in New York City. I only wish other leaders were that cautious. It is scary-all of it-loss of jobs and the hateful virus.

OMG, pizza is LIFE. At least IMHO.

I like the drawing. The hair is on point, nice job! :)
