Rain's Garden Cozy and PPF

Hi Everyone!

O-M-G it is storming like you wouldn't believe. We are in a storm warning and high surf alert. ANNNNNDDDD we have to go out in it today. I am going to try to stop by the beach to get some photos. Depends on how bad the winds are. In the mean time over at Rain's Garden the prompt today is Cozy. How perfect for a day like this? Over the last few months I have been crocheting. In winter I grow my hair out. You all know how awful that can look so I wear a hat or beanies. In addition I am making a throw blanket.  I think that is pretty cozy. LOL Come over to Rain's Garden and then tomorrow Paint Party Friday to see what all the artists have created. Stay warm and cozy where ever you are.

Love your warm beanies and throw, nothing better in bad weather. Wild, wet and windy here, too. Hugs, Valerie

Hi Nicole! :) Oh gosh, that weather sounds a little scary please be careful at the beach!!! But a warm an cozy homemade throw with a beanie sounds perfect!!! I wish I had the patience to teach myself to crochet. I taught myself how to knit a few years ago but I find that I lose my concentration a lot with all of the pets around me and their antics lol! I found a crochet hook at a garage sale, no idea the size, but I would love to make a nice throw. Hmmm...maybe I'll try in 2020! Nice cozy images and your stitch work is lovely! Thanks so much for joining in!! :)

Great multicoloured beanies, Nicole. Lots of choice for you there. Must be nice to be able to crochet. I never felt comfortable with one needle, though I did a bit years ago ;-)
I was looking at your drawings and your photos, too - lovely memories. Your drawings are SOooo good! Hope you stay in and keep warm in the rough weather. Rain here, too but the winds seem to have died down. Hope you're enjoying your Christmas prep!

I love your colourful crochet beanies and throw Nicole! I crochet nearly every day, currently working on a granny square blanket. It's a wonderful and relaxing hobby. Hope you stay safe in the storm, and share some photos from the beach.

Be careful! We have had rain, wind and darkness...No snow yet.
I sleep over this season :) Of course some sewing etc. but this darkness makes me slow but I don't mind. SOON my life is busy and full of energy :)
Have a relaxing weekend!

You are multi-talented! Love the bright colors in your warm, crocheted hats! We could sure use them in my neck of the woods - we have 9 inches of snow and counting! Happy PPF!

Nicole,

I'm attempting to play catch up after my 2-week blog hiatus. I'm sure I won't get completely caught up before the year ends at this rate, either. lol Anywho, I like your idea of cozy and how cool you knit or is that crocheted beanies? Which ever it is, I wish I could do it. :)
