Monday Memories

Hi Everyone!

Another day of memories. For a few years M and I lived remote in the Bitterroot MT of N. Idaho. We lived off the land and only once a year or so we would travel into town for staples. It was one of the best times of my life. Once we decided to move to a place with people and things it was way out of any town. We both obtained jobs at a resort and still lived up on the MT. side. It was very difficult to move into a cabin for winter. The confinement was suffocating.  Here are some photos that, for me, bring back such fun and wonderful memories. This was in the 1980's.  Happy memory day!

Just a fun day me and my dog.

We had Grouse that night for  dinner.

I couldn't wait to get off work and outside.

This was can shooting.

Spring was here.

Just a happy dog day.

Gosh Nicole, I can't imagine living off the land like that. I'm sure I'd starve to death, since I am NOT a fisher person and am only good with a pistol. I can't believe the signs in the resort where you worked. I haven't seen cigarette ads like that in years. Maybe I don't go to places where they sell them, though. You have certainly lived a very fulfilling and gifted life. I hope it continues in 2020, too. Happy New Year, dear.

Elizabeth,it was the 80's and people still smoked in public places. Also this was a convenience store at the resort top side by the road so lots of locals and tourists. It is where I really learned how nasty some tourists can be. LOL

Well, you old hippie you! That wouldn't be my idea of a good time. I'm a city girl through and through. When the Disaster Times come and we all have to fend for ourselves, I'll be one of the first ones shot and eaten.
