It is Saturday

Hi Everyone!

Well some of you know I am dealing with a failed eye surgery and has left me blind in 1/3 of my right eye. I have been fighting to get to the proper doctors to try and find out what went wrong during surgery. Of course the surgeon has let me know on many occasions that it is not his fault. Anyway today I have to go to the hospital to pick up a disk that has my MRI and CT scan on it and then send it to the new doctor. I have a feeling that his office not having me sign a release and sending for it themselves is not a good sign. I am trying to be calm but find myself in a panic. The only thing that really takes my mind away is drawing. That time with pencil and paper that allows my mind to focus only on that. I may not be great at it but it is the healing force in my life right now.
More rocks!

Lovely drawing. Sorry about your eye. I have had 14 eye ops up to now, and am thankful that I can still see. Have a great weekend, Valerie

Oh Nicole, that sounds just terrible. I won't start to rant about what I think of the medical community. I'm sure there is a good, trustworthy and HONEST doctor out there who has the skills to help you. Let's keep the faith. So sorry that you are going through this. Your rocks are WONDERFUL. xx

My sympathy goes with you as you try to find some answers to what happened with your eye. I am so glad you have your drawing and sketching to fall back on. I hope the news from the new doctor is better. In the meantime, this is a gorgeous drawing. Great shading, too.

Maybe you're drawing rocks because you seem to be coming up against so many 'boulders' in your life right now, Nicole...my heart goes out to you. I'm so sorry you're going through this. I hope you can work around it and adapt...life deals us some crappy hands at times and for me, the secret is finding out where God is in the middle of them...because he is always there, somewhere...
I hope you can do this in your own way. Blessings and hugs.
