PPF Mini Top Hats

Hi Everyone!

Well I have been beyond busy and actually simply forgot about PPF last week. This week is not much better. I like being busy, however, I don't like not having time for art. Sighhhh....
On the 15th of this month the Siuslaw Library, where I am on the art committee,  is having an appreciation Tea for all of the volunteers. I asked if we should dress up with flower hats and fancy dresses. I was told I could. So several of the ladies came over to make mini top hats. It was fun but not what I really wanted. So I am making another one. We are also hitting the thrift stores to find something uhhmmm appropriate for the Tea. One gal has already found a dress. I am gong tomorrow so I hope I can find something too. I am giving this hat to one of the volunteers that couldn't make it to my house. It has a clip on the bottom to hold it on her hair, so it sits crooked on the table.

I am really am very fortunate. I have friends that when they decide they no longer want art supplies they give them to me. YaYY. Yesterday I received these solid oil paint sticks. They are so cool and I think I will use them a lot.
The last for tonight is this very strange painting I did. Not sure what or where I was going with this is. LOL

Have a great weekend everyone.

Love the hat you made! Those flowers on the top are so cool. Did you make those too? And lucky you with the oil sticks. I've never tried those before but they definitely look like fun.

Your painting is looking lovely! It reminds me of a wild meadow with tall grass :)

I've got some oil paint sticks and although I've not used them for a while, I have had fun with them and I'm sure you will too.
