PAINT P ARTY FRIDAY 2/15

Hi Everyone!

My days are looking brighter and I am feeling like there is a light at the end of this tunnel. Thanks for all the encouragement.  Also thanks to Eva and Kristen for hosting Paint Party Friday and to all of the artists that show art.  This week has been busy, as my days usually are. I don't have much to show but here it is.  I am learning some new things in drawing, here is one I worked on.
Can you tell me what I am working on? LOL

She started like this.

I was so fortunate to find my disks for some of my programs and was able to start making beading patterns again. These are two I have up in my beadwright.com

I am very happy with this one. It actually comes from an old art piece I did with Nicole's BeadBacking.

Some of you may remember this one. A 16x20 canvas with a pastel background then cut shapes of Nicole's BeadBacking glued on. It is prettier in real life.

Wishing everyone a wonderful weekend

Nicole, I love how you get all the varied expressions in your beautiful drawings. Just wondering if you stand in front of a mirror to sketch the way the muscles do. And it is so good to see some of your fantastic beadwork again. So colorful and beautiful.

Well, I thought you were working on expressions, but then you already manage to put a lot of expression in your faces. I think the hair is getting better every week, so keep going! That bead pattern burst of color is really pretty! Have a great week!

What a wonderful canvas with the colors and the bead work it's inspired by! Definitely a powerful portrait as well.

I love all your art Nicole! You do so much! That last painting is so bright and beautiful! That is a cool idea to take your bead backing and clue it on the canvas!
Have a great weekend! Big Hugs!

I think the hair, although it looks great. Maybe something else like the type of pencil you are using? Beautiful canvas! I miss beading. My hands won't work that way anymore. Your designs look great! You have a wonderful weekend also. Hugz, Rasz

How pretty! I simply have little motivation these days. Spring is coming, though.
