PAINT PARTY FRIDAY ART n LIFE

Hi Everyone!

It has been a heck of a week.  So the bad stuff first and out of the way. If you have been with me for awhile  you know I share my body with lupus and I take care of it myself, (no lupus meds for me) With that I do need a doctor to help with the results of lupus. For me that is brain and spine tumors. The first two were found about 18 years ago, flat and not very big, slow growing and nothing to worry about. Over the years those have grown have mass and a third one joined in. Then two or three years ago my annual brain MRI revealed a head full of spots. It is pretty spectacular to see all of them. (not in a good way) Nothing "they" can do but my doctor did put me on a statin to keep plaque at a lower level. OK..... so this doesn't get too long and boring, I go in tomorrow for a brain MRI to make sure I don't have an Intracranial skull base tumor. Sooo I am asking what ever your prayer system is to please say one for me.
Thank you so very much

OK I am done with that. 😀

I had a really busy week with new items in my Beadwright Etsy shop, creating art, getting orders out and spending time with friends.  All fun things for me.  Leave a comment and let me know what you did this week.
I really want to know.
Now for the art. I am still creating my Art Everyday and proud to say that I am 96 for 96.  It is so much easier than I thought it would be.
A huge thanks to Eva and Kristen for hosting the best party each week.
I can't wait to see what all of you have created.
Are you ready to see?

I love this piece. She is so much prettier in real life. Molded Leather

Wishing everyone a great weekend.

You are a source of inspiration, my friend, so thank you for sharing your journey. I will most certainly keep you in my prayers. As to your artwork, congratulations on your Etsy sales. As usual, I'm always impressed by the diversity represented in your portraits, and how good you are at all of them. The expressions you capture are fabulous too. May the peace of the Lord be with you and comfort you everywhere you go.

You certainly have been getting many drawings and art done despite the lupus acting up. It's such a great way to take one's mind off the troubles. Sending thoughts and prayers and wishing you well Nicole. Happy PPF!

Love how your art is progressing and I am saddened by your story of Lupus ... a horrible disease attacking a wonderful person. Life is surely not fair, but your courage and strength are amazing and that is a big part of the battle when fighting any disease. I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers, Nicole ...

Nicole, reading your post almost made me weep. In spite of very great difficulties, you have continued to produce such amazing drawings. The faces you draw have so much expression in them. I join with others in sending my best wishes and praying for good results to your tests.

really hope you don't have a brain tumor :( MRIs are never fun
I don't find it boring at all to read about, in some way I find it interesting how someone else deals with a chronic illness :)

my MRI is interesting, not completely full of white bright spots but the ones that are there and where they are makes a lot of sense for my symptoms

Hi Nicole! I will send up prayers for you. It's so scary at times, isn't it. I believe that all prayers work, even when you don't know who is praying or how. It's all good stuff. I'm excited that you are filling up your Etsy Store and making art. If I wasn't creating right now I do not know where I would be in my recouping phase. Are bodies are incredible yet strange things.I love your faces. What a great job your doing with all the expressions. Hang in there and I will be thinking good thoughts too! Big hugs & love to you my friend!

Nicole Ma'am,
You'll be in my prayers henceforth. You are taking it very well and that's therapeutic. Hank sees a penchant for portraits. That's great as it brings out character better.

Hi Nicole. Thank you for visiting my blog and your lovely comments have been very appreciated! I am a bit devastated to learn about your lupus, but I'm also amazed and proud of your attitude. I live with 5 arthritis's and can only relate a bit as it's child's play comparatively. So glad you are using your art to focus on, it's also how I use it, and your portraits are so good. You will be in my prayers, artful friend! xoxo
