PAINT PARTY FRIDAY JAN 6

Hi Everyone!

I am creating some sort of art everyday this year. Hey come heck or high water. LOL Or as we found ourselves on the Oregon cost heck or high snow. Yes it snowed... gag! After it was all done almost 5 inches in my yard. It is melting off the streets but the cold temps has it frozen in yards. Anyway here are my drawings for the week including the first one is my art for today. Huge thanks to Eva and Kristen for hosting Paint Party Friday even through the holidays.

I finished her this morning.

and these the rest of the week.

The day before snow in my yard.

The early morning after snow

Have a great week!

You really have a talent for faces. The second one is my favorite. Wow! a herd of deer in your yard. Maybe they were filling up with grass because they knew the snow was coming.

Hello Nicole, you've a great collection of portaits - all with their distinct personalities. If I had to choose, I'd say my favourite is the third one down. Her eyes just sing... oh and her gorgeous hair. I admire your artistry. Cheerio now :D)

What a expressive serie of portraits. My favorit is the happy 3. one.
We got also snow and very cold weather here in Finland. In Lapland 41 degree C.
Happily not so cold in the southern part I live :)
Happy and healthy new year to you xx

I especially like the shading in the 2nd one and the 5th drawing! Yay for setting the "daily painting" goal! You will be amazed at your growth! Happy PPF and keep up the good work :)

Yikes! Snow on the coast!!! A few years ago, we had two days of freezing rain here in Savannah - as a northern girl, that was no big deal. Just stay off the roads while it's bad. But going to the grocery store, you would have thought the world was about to end. I think people got ready to be housebound for months! :)

Your drawings - swoon!! You are such an inspiration with your daily drawing practice! In theory I'm right there with you, but in reality not so much. At least I do something creative every day and that's good! Your drawings are gorgeous!!

Happy New Year! xoxo Silke

My goodness you are prolific. Are these people you know or have seen or are they created in your imagination? You are truly perfecting your people art ... love the snow, but not so much the cold. And we are big deer fans at my house so that is awesome as well. Happy New Year, Nicole ...

Each one has their own personality, I love the drawings. Yep, After 30 years of NO SN*W . . .4-letter word, you know, I'm not happy with this. Great story with those pictures. Blessings, Janet

we got 20 cm of snow the other day. Had to shovel off my car.
One piece of art every day? Not sure I would fix that. It worked for a month, But a year? Love your faces as always :)
