Hi Everyone!
I know this is very early posting for Paint Party Friday however, if I don't do it now I will not have time later. The next two days are busy busy busy. I was able to spend some time in the art room this week working on a new painting that I will show next time. I am also working on leather boxes. I ordered some single shoulders that were on sale and are beautifully tanned. For now though Here are two drawings that I was able to create.
The first is named "Intense"
This second one is "Dejection"
I have drawn this woman in the past. The life she shows on her face haunts me.
It is dark and stormy here and I can't get a good photo of this drawing.
A huge thanks to Kristen I and Eva for hosting Paint Party Friday, and to all the incredible artists who join in.

Nicole, both of these drawings are great! The title for the 1st one is perfect. Intense. Yes. And the 2nd drawing is a bit haunting to me as well... beautiful work. I love that you dabble in everything - you're never boxed in to just one medium. Wishing you a wonderful week! xx

ReplyDeletelearning, learning - you're right. I try to learn proportions of face...I know the rules but it's difficult to follow the rules on the paper :) but I know I learn by doing. We all do :)
