SUNDAY SKETCHES OCT 9

Hi Everyone!

Here it is Sunday and time for Sunday Sketches. I want to thank Alexandra for hosting  a day to show what artists are creating.   I am still sketching faces trying to fine tune the nuances of features. I think, I feel like I am advancing in this. There really is a lot in creating the human face.  Anyway this is my attempt for this week.

Haven't tried a human face yet... may never!! It looks scary to do.

She is beautiful and seems a bit stressed ... something that we all are from time to time which makes it even more natural. Beautifully done, Nicole ...

Faces are indeed complicated, it is why my sketching focus is mainly on them. You are doing wonderfully! This face is beautiful.

You did great capturing the values in the muscles! Looking forward to seeing more of your exploration with drawing features -- definitely a subject with lots of possibilities!

I find the biggest challenge in faces is the people I know best. The knowledge of their personalities distorts the results.
