29 FACES DAY 7

Hi Everyone!
Yesterday I took the day away from the PC. I thoroughly enjoyed it.  Part of that enjoyment was drawing face number 7 for 29 Faces, hosted by Martha of Ayala Art.  I am happy with this face. I do see a few tweaks that can be made, but for now it's done. Here are a few photos of how she progressed. I am left handed so I am always erasing pencil smudges from where my hand has dragged across the page. I have to work on that. LOL

I took this photo in monochrome

and this one in portrait. Which one do you like better?

I start by sketching out a face and then basic shading.

I am constantly changing adding and subtracting shades. I also work all over the page.

I like the thirst one, but all are very fine. Your drawing is very personal and great.

She is wonderful. Love her expression. i also enjoy how a piece is not done until we decide it is, adding and subtracting all sorts of things.
