Hi Everyone!
I want to thank everyone for voting for my painting. I am thrilled that I
got 315 votes. The winner got close to 6,000 votes. That is almost the
population of the town I live in. WOW.
Since we were in medical mode this spring I was unable to "spring clean" Sooooo I have been doing that this week. From walls to floors I only have one room left. It feels so good to have my house spotless again. LOL Yeah I am a clean freak.
Now that the contest is over with, time to change things up and get some art going. Today I am starting another leather project. I have the leather soaking now so it will be ready for me this afternoon.

I managed to vote a couple of times.. Those few on top must have great support groups doing mass voting. But at least you know you have 300 close "fans" and supporters. Yeah.
Today, I am experimenting with some lo cal, lo fat, tasty items for our Thursday meeting. I was going to make buttermilk biscuits, but what could I bring to put on them that wasn't calorific to the max. Also starting more preferments for bread. That means I MUST bake tomorrow, no excuses. Donna from you know where.....north, sun shining, no wind, barely wet yesterday.
6000 votes, ya right! Maybe they were voting for themselves! LOL! I'm trying to finish a painting, that I have redone 3 times! I'm a clean freak too! Big Hugs!
