PAINT PARTY FRIDAY 6/24

Hi Everyone!

Not much art this week. Lots of medical going on with my DH. I swear the gods just want to see how much they can pile on top of us. Mike woke up two weeks ago with double vision. RYKM???? So our lives have been full of all kinds of tests, scans, blood work, and what ever else can be as expensive as possible. Our vacation has also been put on hold. Ohhh, have you ever had a double vision husband tell you how to drive? It is hilarious!!!!  Mike and I are trying to keep a positive attitude and joking as much as we can, but this is not good.  Soooooo art this week has been hit and miss and nothing is really turning out very well.
Here are a few sketches and just messing around.
A  huge thanks to Eva and Kristin for hosting Paint Party Friday.
Wishing all of you a wonderful weekend.

OK she looks a little scary. LOL

Just messing around. Have not drawn an apple since I was a kid. Need more practice.

Hmmm who knows what this girl is thinking. Maybe she needs a hair dresser. LOL

in conclusion

Truly sorry your DH is dealing wth health issues and you too of course. I love that you can both joke your way through some of this. I think you drew yourself, flying hair, feeling frantic, dank hair feeling drained. Hope things get better soon. Keep drawing, it helps!

Wishing you and hubby the best along with a good outcome and diagnosis. No expert but I do know that double vision can be a sign of diabetes. Good that you can have some laughs about it because it does seem to help the stress level. Nice to just mess about sometimes too. Happy PPF!

The girl looks scared, a little, not scary! I applaud you for putting forth any art with that sort of malady in your family. I sure hope things reveal something simple, but it does sound upsetting. Better you driving with double backseat driving than he driving with it!!!

Ohh Nicole, I do hope your hubby's gets positive results and is back on the road to recovery soon. It must be such a worry for you all.
As to your artwork, I'm so impressed that you've managed to do any art at all.
Sending positive thoughts and well wishes. Happy PPF to you

Oh dear that sucks...could it be bpv....check it out online it's a type of vertigo...you need a physio correction for the crystal in the inner ear...I've heard it can sometimes cause double vision. Often happens during stressful times. I know several people who have had it...yet doctors don't always diagnose it properly. The adjustment works pretty quick. There are very few therapists who specialize in the adjustment...check it out though. Love your artwork especially the last girl...she looks like one of the masters works! Wishing you all the best!

Despite all the driving directions from your double vision passenger you art still flows wonderfully:-)

Oh I hope they figure out what is causing your husbands double vision and I could imagine a man, no matter if he can see or not, telling his wife how to drive. Your sketches are cute and I love the comic at the end of your post. I would imagine it is hard to get too creative with everything going on. You will be in my thoughts. Hugs, Rasz

So sorry to hear about your husband. Hope they find out soon what's wrong and can give him something to heal. Your sketches are looking great. I don't think the first one looks scary, more like overwhelmed by everything life's throwing at her ... Keep courage!

You poor thing! My husband has prostate cancer. He had it removed but it has metastasized. We enjoy each day and laugh as much as you! It's the only way!
