PPF RINGS n THINGS

 Hi Everyone!

First let me apologize for not making it to all of your blogs last week. "THINGS" life just got on high speed and before I knew it it is PPF again.  I do have some new art but it is storming something wicked here and getting a good photo was just out of the questions. It is suppose to be nice this weekend so I will get lots of shots. For now a big thanks to Eva and Kristin for hosting Paint Party Friday.  I WILL be by to see all you this week.

I designed and created these rings more than several years ago now.
I cut, shaped and sanded base metal in different ring sizes, then cover the metal in deer hide. I used hand made fused dicro glass for the focal part of the ring and then beaded the finish.
All of the rings here sold at one of the shows I did. They are very comfortable to wear with the soft hide.

Wish I could video the wind. It is just howling.

What is going on with the weather? Yesterday here was like spring, but today we have had forecast for snow!
I'm just going to have to have an arty day... woohoo!
Beautiful designs and unusual rings Nicole, you obviously have had fun creating these.
I hope you can keep cosy and dry. Happy PPF to you

I LOVE these rings. The 2nd and the 4th ring that you took a picture of on your finger...or someone else's finger, are my favorite! How beautiful they all are! Hope the sun shines soon and warms everything up. The sun is out today and I have my hallway closet doors out on the deck just waiting for the sunny day so I can paint them and get them back inside before the rain comes again. Really a great job on your rings! Hugs Rasz

Your bead rings are simply awesome, Nicole! I am drooling over that next to the last one. And about not visiting everyone each week. I find that sometimes if I miss a favorite blog, I will scroll back when I do find time to visit, even if it is 2 weeks later. (Which is what I just did with yours even though I try hard to get to yours each week!!!)

Stunning...I'd have had to have a few of those back in the day.... purple was always calling my name back then! Thanks for sharing...loved seeing these. Great colour combinations! They would be inspiring for a line a jewellery today!

they are beautiful all of them.
I have a ring I bought in Kenya many years ago. It is of the same idea but simpler. As I´m allergic to metal this is a great choise :)
