PAINT PARTY FRIDAY 10/25

Hi Everyone!

It is Paint Party Friday!!! I have enjoyed so much visiting the other artists who join in. Be sure that you visit them too. Big thanks to Eva and Kristin for hosting this event.
This week I am actually working on a small version of a large piece I will be creating. No I don't have it finished yet. The prep work is laborious but that foundation is the main attraction. So maybe next week I will be able to show that.  In the meantime here are a few pieces.

Abstract tile made for a customers home. It has lots of texture and very shinny.
12x12"

12x24" canvas acrylics. "Wondering"

Gourd, leather, seed beads, rocks, crystal, crow beads, pony beads, fire polish beads, sinew. This is for my Sister. She gave me this Crystal shortly before she passed away. While I was making this she was on my mind and the Crystal just seemed perfect for this.

12x16" oil on canvas abstract. "There Peeking"

Another tile for the same customer. Love how this bird came out.

Close up of the texture and shine

Those tiles are amazing!!!! Love your gourd creation ♥ I haven't made anything like that for years but have been feeling the draw of late to something again. I even pulled out some beads the other day and just held them in my hands feeling them warm . It was nice.

I'm a little late, but just wanted to stop by and say hello or rather adieu before I leave on my trip! I love all the gorgeous texture in the tiles, and the gourd is just such a special remembrance of your sister. Be well, my friend, and I'll catch up on my return.

There's so much variety to your artwork Nicole,
The tiles are amazing with lots of wonderful textures. I'm so happy to hear when other artists don't have finished pieces to show... it makes me feel so much better and that I'm not alone ;D
Happy PPF to you
