INTRODUCING LICIA RAMOS

Hi Everyone,

I truly am so fortunate to meet some of the worlds nicest people who share not only their talents but the goodness of their hearts with others. Lucia is one of these beautiful women who creates from her soul and blesses people she comes in contact with. 

In her own words I introduce to you Lucia Ramos

Licia is a breast cancer survivor and teaches beading to other cancer survivors and those in treatment. Beading is a meditative and healing art which has benefits to those suffering with this disease. She is a member of the Los Angeles Bead Society which is one of the oldest groups in the U.S  www.beadsociety.la.org. Her work can be purchased and viewed at the Pasadena Bead and Design shows in Los Angeles, and other high-end shows in southern California. Many of her pieces are designed and embroidered on NBB, since the color palettes, sizes and durability are PERFECT for this technique. She even uses little scraps to fill in on smaller designs in her work and doesn't waste any material!!!!!

NBB is her "go-to" beading foundation and she recommends it to all as a quality product!

Licia  Ramos has been a beader for over 

30 years and owns her own  company

BEADED STATEMENTS by Licia. Her original and unique collections of bead embroidered jewelry, using vintage and contemporary cabochons, focal beads, and semi-precious gemstones are beautiful show stoppers, and stunning examples of wearable bead art.

She has an artistic flair for color, style, texture, pattern, and shape inspired by family generations of Italian painters, sculptors, and crafters from the Art Nouveau period.

Her Beaded Statements, (pendants, earrings, rings, and bracelets) are miniature works of art, using a combination of off-loom stitches and embroidery techniques.

She has a private clientele, and her work has been displayed and sold at shows, galleries and studios.   

She is a member of the Los Angeles Bead Society.

Licia has also had a career as a professional speaker and facilitator and loves teaching beading to

 inspire others to create and enhance their artistry. 

Her hands-on Guidance, Instruction and 

Workshops are for both individuals and groups.

Group Workshops can be private, public or in-home parties.

Sessions include: Basics - Necklaces, Bracelets and/or Earrings, and

Intermediate or Advanced - Cabochon Beading, Bead Embroidery, and Embellishment. She’s known for sharing her knowledge and passion of beads so that everyone whether beginner or advanced designs a piece uniquely their own, and absolutely loves their creation!
