Hi Everyone!!
Happy Paint Party Friday
Thanks to Eva and Kristin for hosting this great forum for all of us.
This week has been so much fun in the studio. Relearning to paint is pure joy for me.
All I want to do is paint!
There is a place in North Idaho where Mike and I use to hike to. This place was not too far from our old house. It looks something like this painting.
OK so just call me Rocky. I can't seam to get enough of rocks.
This is my third rock painting in two weeks. LOL
Here is a double abstract that will be sent to my daughter for her new house.

Honor and integrity
in art, in life.

Yowza!! Wow! Nicole, you are just as creative in your painting as you are in your beading. You rock friend!! Way to go! You lived next to running waters? I would never have left, that is awesome. Your daughter I'm sure will love and be very appreciative of your gift and the soul you put into it. Very nice Nicole. Talk to you later.
ReplyDeleteHey Nicole, your rocks are rocking, seriously! Excellent paintings!
ReplyDeleteThe paintings for your daughter are so cool! Wickedly cool! I LOVE THEM!
You should start selling your paintings!

Hey Nicole!! I hope you are well!! That painting for your daughter is great! But I also love the rocks!
ReplyDeleteThe first one reminds me on our landscape here wher I live- in the second one the sky speaks to me and the double abstract is stunning!

ReplyDeleteBeautiful work! I have a really hard time with landscapes, rocks especially! I can never get them to look realistic! lol They always end up kind of comic-y.
ReplyDeleteGreat work, I love the darker colors.
ReplyDeleteOf course I love your rocks, Nicole. I didn't join you in rock painting this week. I love your scenery art. Very nice.

ReplyDeleteWOW, some beautiful pieces of art, my friend! Just posted for PPF.
ReplyDeletewell your rocks are magical, and your daughter is sure to love the abstract!
ReplyDeleteYou're doing more than painting rocks here, methinks. They are wonderful landscapes with lots of movement and energy -- yet a peacefulness to them. Your abstract reminds me of a carpenter's workshop for some reason. Amazing work. And I just have to add "You Rock!"
ReplyDeleteGorgeous pieces this week! You got a lot done. As for the rocks - as long as they are in your paintings and you don't have rocks in your head - you're ok.
ReplyDeleteVery nice body of work, I'm sure you're daughter will be thrilled!!
ReplyDeleteHugs Giggles
You have definitely mastered rocks and that's a hard one to do (for me). Blessings, Janet PPF
