PAINT PARTY FRIDAY MAY 15

Hi Everyone!

First off can you believe that the month of May is half over?
I am feeling better from lupus and hope I can stay this way for awhile. That was a hard hitting flare.
I hope all of you that are going through similar set backs are doing better as well.

A big thanks to Eva and Kristen for hosting Paint Party Friday. Also to all of the artists who join in each week to share what they have created.  Please click on the link to see all the great art.

I have two abstract pieces that I have done over the last two months.

acrylics on 20x16" canvas
A Walk into My Dream

another 20x16" abstract in acrylics
For my brother Steve
The Colors of Life

It's always so intriguing to see artwork based on dreams. This one has a fairytale feel to it -- like we're walking into a forest that may be enchanted, one way or the other. The one to your brother has a primitive tribal feel and I love the wing shape. Art always helps me through health crises. I'm glad you keep your eyes open and paint.

Good to hear you're feeling better!

I like both your works, but the forest touches me in some mysterious way, great work.

Your brother is going to be happy!

Wonderful paintings! I love how in the first one the trees in the front are dark while the ones in the back are light. Gives a very dreamy, foggy atmosphere. And the one for your brother looks great too. I see a little man in the middle jumping, full of life. Glad that you're feeling better!

So very glad you are feeling better!!! I have Fybromylgia and I know how those chronic conditions and the flares that go with them can zap you of everything. The art is truly beautiful!!
