PAINT PARTY FRIDAY

Hi Everyone!

It has been a long day. The drive into Eugene is so tiring. So I will make this short. A huge thank you to Eva and Kristin for hosting Paint Party Friday. Please stop by their blog to see all the wonderful artists that exhibit their art.

I may have showed this on my blog before but not with PPF. This is what I call "Car Art" Drawings that I do as a passenger on road trips.
Enjoy

I am simply amazed that you are able to draw that well while riding in a car! I can barely manage with my sketchpad firmly planted on the kitchen table!

Great sketch, and a good idea - but I always have to drive myself, so won't try in the car! Valerie

it's not easy drawing in a moving car...so many bumps and turns and general unsteadiness...well done! Your sketch is lovely!

What a powerful image - I don't know how you draw like that in a car. I'm assuming you are not always riding on perfectly smooth roads and the only car on the road -LOL. That is an amazing portrait. HPPF

This would be a fantastic piece of art if done in the studio. It is super wonderful that you did it in a moving car!

Wow! I feel sick if I look down in the car for only a few moments.. I feel a bit of a whimp looking at what you have been able to achieve in your car drawing! Thanks for your visit :)

Intriguing and expressive -- the face emerging from the lines conjures up so many thoughts. Lovely!

Like a mystery face that looked in through the mist, you saw it for a second before it disappeared...I find it intriguing, intense too...Wow! Amazing!

Wow! I've doodled and done some iPad drawing in the car, but don't think I could do such a finished looking piece as yours. Blessings!

This is an amazing sketch - I keep having to re- look at it! I have never been able to sketch in the car, it irritates me so much, although maybe if I every owned a car which had decent suspension....
Cheers,
Kirstin
(p.s. thank you for leaving such lovely comments on my PPF painting! I greatly appreciate it!)

Thank you for healing wishes! I really appreciate them!
I'm just like Ayala, couldn't draw in a driving car ;-)

I like the way the face seems to emerge from some dark space. It is very expressive and wonderful.

Love your beads! Just took a peek through your blog... you live in one of my fav places! When I visit my sister in Eugene I often drive back to Portland (airport eventually) along the coast and last trip I had a yummy meal at a grill down the street from the rubber stamp store in Florence!
Thanks for stopping by my blog for PPF!
I just joined your Google+ to keep up with your creative spirit!

I also find road trips a great time for sketching. I am impressed that you were armed w/colored pencils, though! I usually can dig up only a stray pen or odd pencil for the occasion:-)
