DIMENSIONAL BEAD EMBROIDERY

Hi Everyone!
First off this is NOT a giveaway. LOL However, I wanted to share my thoughts about Jamie Cloud Eakin's new book, Dimensional Bead Embroidery,
Dimensional Bead Embroidery ISBN 978-1-600059-796-1 This is a Lark Book an Imprint of Sterling Publishing Co., Inc of New York. I know you can get it on Amazon.com.

There is nothing less than exciting about Jamie Cloud Eakin’s new book. With excellent text, diagrams and photography any level of beader can accomplish the projects set in this book. The gallery of finsihed bead work, created by 20 different artists, is beautifully arrange. As are the author’s pieces that adorn the 160 pages throughout this hard bound book. Photographer Stewart O’Sheilds is to be comended for the excellence in his craft and contribution to this book.
The first 35 pages are dedicated to materials, tool, basic techniques, design, componets and much more. I was impressed with the information. Every thing you need to know if you are a beginner. There are are 9 step by step projects to complete that will lead you to your own designing ideas. I like this book very much. Old and new technipues coupled with old and new designs.  If you want to get inspired, get creative then get Dimensional Bead Embroidery.

I'll have to persuade Santa to get it for me this year. :)

  2. This looks like an exciting book. I honestly think your work would have made a nice addition to the book. You have a style of your own and it reflects the beauty of the bead.
