PAPER JEWELRY

Hi Everyone!
A few weeks ago I was approached to review two new books. I am going to review these books in two different blog posts. The first book is "Creative Paper Jewelry" Earrings, Pendants, Beads & Pins by Dafna Yarom. I fell in love with this book! It brought back memories of making paper beads with my grandmother. For those of you who don't know, paper beads have been around since the Victorian age. This book however, has brought an old technique to a modern style and quite fashion forward. Dafna draws you in from the first pages giving a very good explanation of the use of products and how to put them all together. This book is engaging with twenty beautiful projects for the novice to the advanced artist. I do love the way this book is laid out, with easy to read instructions accompanied with good photographs. The text is specific to each project and well written. If you want to enrich your jewelry art I highly recommend this book at just $19.95.

Published by Penn Publishing for Sixth & Springs Books.
ISBN: 978-1936096060

Wow! When I think of "paper jewelry" I think of rolled beads...I never thought paper could be used in so many other beautiful ways!
