SAD DAY IN FLORENCE

Hi everyone
As you know I am very involved in the art community of my town of Florence, OR. A few weeks ago my bead group Florence Area Beaders "FAB" were invited to display our work at the Florence Library. There is a wonderful arts department and artists from around the area can sign up to display. In an earlier post I showed off some of the FAB group and the case. Today we all received a phone call telling us that the case had been broken into and 4 pieces were stolen. It is a sad day when even the library locked case isn't safe. Who ever did this better watch out! We have the whole community on alert. The middle shelf and the green necklace on the bottom shelf are the items that were stolen. Nothing quite as low as a thief.

So sad to hear about this. My friend's granddaughter had a drawing stolen at a school art exhibit, if you can believe that. Amazing how low some people will go. Hope they catch the crooks!

How Awful! To think you can't even display work at your local public library! Teri
